  2. According to everyone's favorite website, PFF, White has a 61.1 grade for the season. He's ranked 78th out of 167 cornerbacks. Not a bad rank - for a backup. His grade for the Pats game was a miserable 47.8. Really hoping Max heals soon and proves himself more than worthy of a 1st round pick. I have fond memories of a younger Tre, with Hyde and Poyer, giving us one of the best defensive backfields in football. Yikes, those days are gone.
  3. I'm fully ready to move on from Brandon Beane. He has proven himself to be a very poor early round drafter and it seems like we are straddled with bad contracts every year. The roster badly needs a talent upgrade. I would reluctantly stay with McDermott IF he completely gives up on controlling the defense, brings in a legit DC (not someone who is his puppet like Babich) and just focuses on head coaching duties. This will never happen though.

  6. Everyone eats is the nice way of saying we have zero divas at WR/anyone that we need to force targets too. I dont mind the saying - just rather we get more creative with our pass route concepts and get less predictable on offense.
  7. Going with GB - Not thrilled about Flacco but doesn't seem like enough time to be fully integrated, and if Burrow got sacked a lot, imagine what could happen with Flacco! I am guessing everyone still alive in our pool will pick GB (no one has picked them yet)
  8. Yes, we've won after losing. No duh. The point is, bad games arent used as "wake up calls" where we show up the next week fired up and dominate, or at least execute at an extremely high level. Or go on some tear where coaches and/or players are talking about "That week 4 game left a bad taste in our mouths and we wanted to come back out and prove who we are". Its always the same "steady, consistent" trudge. We lose a game, we come out the next week with the same low level of intensity, plug along and squeak out another win against an inferior opponent. And yes, there is something to be said for steady, consistent leadership that never gets too high or too low. But football is an emotional game as well, and sometimes it would be nice to see a team that is pissed off, locked in, and ready to stomp an inferior opponent. And sure, we've blown some teams out. But it wasnt from any wake up call off a bad performance.
  9. It's fun.. the threads about retiring Mr. Brightside, being tired of everyone eats, never wearing the rivalry jersey again, etc. are hilarious.
  10. Over 30 points in 4 out of 5 games and people just whine and complain. My lord. We had a bad game. 3 turnovers was the problem. Countless penalties was the problem. "Everybody eats" was not the problem. There is a reason why there has only been 1 team to go undefeated for an entire season in the history of the league.

  12. That's because we telegraph our run game. Kincaid comes off the field --- 90%+ chance we run, because we usually bring on some combo of Hawes/Gilliam or use Hawes/Knox. Shakir- hes still battling thru his ankle, IMO. I fully expect we see his snap count increase after bye week But in theory, I hate our personnel groupings. I dont want to see Gilliam on the field, or Shavers. Both these guys ZERO to the pass game/it becomes almost a guarantee we are running the ball. Teams have started to adjust to our personell groupings. Hawes, I dont mind seeing him, but rather we roll with 12 personell than 13 on 1st downs. Keep the defense guessing if run or playaction. Id be saving 13 for inside the 10/3rd or 4th and short.
  13. Interesting comparison. Me thinks that our skill guys are better than the Pats teams that won those Lombardis, but then there’s the coach.
  14. The Patriots secondary will be the best the Bills face all season. Brady was just an idiot for not getting Shakir and Kincaid more involved in the middle of the field. Hopefully he learns from this...

That disgusting, punk AG candidate should never have anything to do with public service, especially the role of AG. Kaine used to be a reasonable guy, but is a complete sellout to party politics. I do wish he'd comb his hair once in awhile though.
  18. I give both Beane and McDermott credit for changing the culture of this organization. It wasn't that long ago the Bills were a POS organization. They were basically the Jets with the only difference being they were wearing blue instead of green. I don't see Terry making a change. I mentioned this before but if the Bills missed the playoffs this year, I think he would give them the chance to fix it in 2026. At that point who knows who will be available to become a HC.
  19. “Everyone eats” is also about salary allocation. They can’t pay a superstar free agent WR at the current WR rate. Our best hope is to hit a home run in the draft at WR— which we could have done had we drafted McConkey instead of Coleman (but that’s another debate).
  20. Given what the Bills have for weapons if it was a true statement that everyone does eat then I'd say no but Brady isn't making that happen . Knox, Samuel, Ty, Shavers, Moore, have not been implemented into to scheme & Palmer has been used very sparingly . Then there is Gilliam which has good hands & should be included in something other than ST's, add the rookie TE into the equation other than the 1 catch he made there is plenty of weapons to utilize but they are not doing so . There are going to be some games that not every body is going to get targets but if you spread it around to those that I mentioned I feel it would be very hard to game plan against this team or for that matter stop them in most cases . The Pats game the window of use for these guys was very narrow and many more of these weapons should have been used and weren't !!

  22. Long runs happen against stacked boxes. Not against light ones. The reason you go heavy formation is to get a hat on a hat play side. Allen holds a guy backside. Cook forces a missed tackle and is out the gate. Last couple weeks Cook is a hand on his ankle away of 40 plus yard runs. He got 10-15 yards on them. A diving defender tripped him up just barely.
  23. I think I saw a cover 1 thing say that the offense should be run through Kincaid, likely not a bad idea, defenses will key on him more opening up our other pass options more and make the run game all the better,
  24. Diggs had a monster game it is true. The Pats dont win without him. But Maye found him and made the throws. That’s why they won. It didn’t look unlike some of the Josh/Diggs performances we saw in the past.
  25. New England Patriots defense is pretty nice to hold us in check for..the entire game. To win.
