The question is: if Sean were unemployed, would any NFL team hire him as a head coach or defensive coordinator? I’m inclined to say no. Coaches and GMs aren’t bound by the salary cap, so unlike players, teams can simply outbid or overpay for the right coach. It’s time to start recruiting.

I can't respond to this without saying things about Beane that could get me banned from this message board. The worst thing about the Bills is that they are a boring team with ZERO fun playmakers. And there was one available for a 2nd, and we couldn't do it because of the precarious culture.

Pickens would go 🦇 💩 crazy in this offense! He’d be used as a decoy to free up looks for Shakir and Knox/Hawes! Amari was not washed as reported. He still drew so much attention that the others got free. Pickens ain’t playing as a decoy, nor is he being mild mannered when Josh consistently overlooks or overthrows him. That would’ve been a disaster of epic proportions trading for him. Dallas, given their attention, don’t have the same expectations as the Bills. They can be reckless and force feed players. Pickens is an immense talent. But he would only work if we had someone like Daboll.

Something is rotten here, and I'm not sure what. I almost think that Joe Brady is throwing these games away for some reason. Like he was offered a HCing job somewhere (NY Giants??)and he simply doesn't care to do his job properly in Buffalo. It's tough to believe he is this lame after what he did last season. This offense has faced more difficult defenses and situations than the Falcons and the Dolphins. That four-man rush that the Texans threw at Buffalo wasn't all that great, as he used to keep extra blockers in to pick that up. What happened to "max protect" with the extra linemen or the quick out passes to negate the pass rush. Josh Allen was sacked 8 times by Houston...he was sacked 14 times all of 2024. I'm starting to hate this guy! If anything, McD should just demote him to run game coordinator and promote one of the men you mentioned to pass game coordinator. Or ask Brian Daboll to step in as pass game coordinator. It would really look curious for the NY Giants to hire the guy after he was demoted in Buffalo. Then again, you have games like the 4th quarter of the Ravens game, the Chiefs game, and the Bucs game. I don't get what's going on behind the scenes.

Palmer really is talented. But he’s a #2 or #3. Not a #1 or high end #2.
