  1. Past hour
  2. It’s cute that the guy with “christian” tattoos gets aroused by committing war crimes.
  3. What is the total points missed column here?
  4. the contract he signed is carried by waivers to the team who signs him
  5. But youve been one of the best teams in the NFL for 5 yrs. It sucks they haven't gotten over the hump, and if not for perhaps the best QB of the era they prob would have. Think about how many good teams Kelly kept out in a 5 yr span. Only one team can go to the SB. Of course the goal is to get there, but let the guy who's been better than so many other teams for so long have a chance and building it back up again. Heck, last yr was supposed to be a rebuild and they managed to make it pain free with a team that was good enough to go to the dance. Now, do I think perhaps we like the idea of drafting and resigning our own too much? Maybe. But these guys have been pretty decent at self scouting. I think now its crystal clear we need resources devoted to WR. He thought he could get by with a bandaid and devote resources elsewhere this year. He even believed it so strongly he stuck his neck out uncharacteristicly. I was worried hed double down, but they've been actively trying to do what they can to get stronger while still giving themselves the ability to be able to have a future. Now. There is just a fundamental difference in wanting to sell the farm for one year to win it all, or try to set yourself up to be competitive and go every year. You either fall on one side of that coin or the other and both have arguments for and against. This GM doesnt seem to think its worth a sell out bc nothing is guaranteed. I think that as well, but acknowledge either side can be right - its just whatever your fundamental beliefs are. Regardless, this is sssooo far away from my original point that people have just gotten so spoiled they just B word to B word. Every player signing there are people who run to make light of age, or former affiliations. Even after the KC game this yr there were complaints and thats the most dominant of a win we've ever had in game. Id venture to guess if McB were cut loose today both would have jobs in quick order. We have it good. We haven't won it all yet, but our chances with these 2 seem better than the unknown. Hell, Id love an awesome offensive minded coach to pair w Allen. But there is more to it than that and more to it than we see or think about. Messages get stale, but I dont think McDs has as of yet. Of course that can change but for now, let's just see where this season takes us.
  6. Are you mocking Christianity cheering murder? Seems very unchristian-like. Keep on judging though. That’s definitely a Christian principle.
  7. The fact that no one has fought back against those jack booted thugs shows what a sham the second amendment really is
  8. You know who wants the Bills to retain the rights to Slay and let him rot? All the other potential NFC playoff teams. I bet there isn’t a single one who feels the Bills should do the player friendly thing and release Slay so he can go to the Eagles.
  9. Any chance OPer had of making their case was lost when they included a bunch of 'almost screwed up but didn't' transactions (e.g. Cook) that were really just skilled negotiations. That said, this has been a frustrating year. So many moves that looked good at the time didn't work out, and a lot of it was just plain bad luck.
  10. You're right. Seems like a dumb take on my part. Guess he's just pissed at Slay and the situation in general. Probably wants to be home for the holidays and I can't blame him. Guy is 34 and has already collected a ring along with a ton of mileage. Very little incentive to grind out a couple additional months in Buffalo. I assume he just retires or finds his way back to the Eagles in a reserve/mentor type role this offseason.
  11. That certainly makes sense to me, and I think it must be true to some extent that McDermott orders the groceries and Beane goes shopping, to use Parcells analogy. In that case, McDermott could be unhappy with the execution of the plan/goal.
  12. One of the reasons we haven't been able to beat Mahomes in the playoffs is because in those games he gets rid of the ball quickly and plays "Burrow-like." In the regular season he plays loosey goosey Mahomes sandlot ball and we generally fare well against him.
  13. I guess we've still got Cam Lewis (and in theory Hancock) but I liked Ingram. This is stupid. Not sure whose fault this is necessarily as there'd be an expectation he'd report but man...wtf Edit: this year is snakebit. Everything McBeane touches goes to *****
  14. if you listen to his interview that is basically what he said
  15. That’s my point. I don’t think the Bills pay him anything if he refuses to report.
  16. But he signed in Pittsburgh and did not “move his family”. They were still living in Philly. All the move to Buffalo would be changing where he drops his clothes. He did not purchase a house in Pittsburgh and did not bring the family. If it really was family driven - rather than complaining and asking to be cut because he was not being used and was inactive - he could of said - I really want to get home and therefore want to be released to go back to my family. He may of had a plan, but he and his agent bungled the entire situation and Beane stopped a future opponent and a potential SB opponent from getting better.
  17. If they don't have to, so much the better.
  18. Like I said, I was against signing him to a 2nd contract. So, I agree with you. Rousseau is a good player, but not what we need. We need a sack specialist.
  19. Quiet, drama queen. Inflation is rampant and extraordinary. Those are your words. They are over the top hyperbole. Embarrassing. You were probably all in on “transitory” and “Putin’s price hike”. Trump made you do it though.
  20. Joe B repeated many times that the Jackson pick was always more about 2026 than it was this year. I do believe he's correct, as Beane has many times picked for needs that are projected 2 years in advance. On the one hand, I agree that pick could have been used wiser to help this year. There is no argument there. What I would offer is that with both Bosa and AJE scheduled to be free agents, it wasn't the worst plan. Honestly, had he stayed healthy and had a couple nice plays to help us this year as well...that would have been terrific.
  21. Why would they be paying him anything if he refused to report/retired?
  22. Surprised Patel had the staff to spare since the FBI is more occupied getting his loser girlfriend and her drunk friends home No one who delights in the death of human beings like Kegsbreath, Kelly, and the rest of your maga idols will ever see heaven. They’re mocking Christianity
  23. Love it!!!! Go Bills!!!!
  24. I agree. So good this year when healthy. Hope to get him back and full by playoffs.
