Well I just say this. In a 17 game schedule and preseason you (all the teams) are going to have injuries to deal with.
-
They did draft a corner in round 1 also Tre was a fairly cheap signing. I don't think they went into the season intending to rely on him...
-
Nothing is ever easy is it.
-
Or....A QB throwing into his coverage is going on a Wild Goose Chase!!
-
This would only be true if something happened to 17 but these injuries are still concerning. Hopefully they can get healthy for the Ravens game which is 17 days away.

Report: Micah Parsons requests a trade
BillsShredder83 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll listen if some of them are pick swaps. 3 firsts --- we get back 2nd & 3rd, type deal. Its ~ a half round trade-down (end of 1st & mid 2nd) -
It'll happen the year we all think we have nothing going and have no expectations.
-
The bad defensive free agent class strikes again. Sucks for white but relying on him as a corner was not very smart. nothing good ever happens during training camp.
-
Reverse psychology. We are winning it all for SURE now. Thank you

Totally fair about the actual cost. Until we get hard numbers, it’s going to be an estimate. But the logistics and material behind taking people from plainclothes day jobs, getting them equipped, organizing and deploying them can’t be cheap. Do they get stipends or extra pay when they are activated? Even if it’s half of that estimate, it’s still prohibitively expensive for a long term solution. NG is supposed to be for short term deployments, like disaster response. More about piling up sandbags and providing logistical support than patrolling and crime enforcement. A couple million dollar price tag for immediate help in the wake of a hurricane seems more justifiable than the tens/hundreds of millions for permanent deployment would cost

The Buffalo Bills stacking injuries at a position... Just another day that ends in y...

That yacht Terry has looks nice. I would love to be able to rent it, but that price tag is way out of my range.

Christian Benford left practice early - just needed the rest

He was tired of watching his teammates let everyone get by them. -
PSL Pricing/Seat Selection Discussion

Tough crap that Giants and Jets fans are paying part. I'm paying for Mets and Yankee stadiums and I don't support them. Maybe they should look into the lavish life style of Woody Johnson next. -
They drafted 3 db's.
-
He is at the level of a 3rd string corner.
-
Yeah but he had 2 passes and handed the ball off. That was it the one season.
-
Man, you’re just spiraling at this point, huh? Sure, I have ideas on how to combat crime but they aren’t relevant to whether or not the DC deployment is effective or even for the stated purposes. Even though you are out here defending the deployment, you still can’t answer basic questions about it so you need to grasp for any distraction. ”hurr durr. He lives in Chicago. Hurr durr.” Pathetic.
-
We could do worse for sure. But he's a short term answer.

Looking back -- Davante Adams vs Amari Cooper

honestly surprised how fast Coop fell off the cliff. dont think either player was worth it last season. -
Frankly I'm skeptical of the validity of that $1 million per day number touted by The Intercept. I'd like to see their data and assumptions. And the first couple paragraphs of the article reads like a propaganda hit piece so there's obviously an agenda in play. We can also argue that if the NG is that expense to deploy in DC then its that expensive at that scale or level to deploy anywhere else for any other reason so why have a NG if you can't use it because its too expensive? That aside, I'm thinking it would be much more effective if the cities hired back most of the cops they let go when the defund the police idea was trendy. Or hire new ones. In DC's case assemble a plan to augment their current police force by an amount equivalent to the National Guard troop count.
