Yeah that was my initial thought as well. But they seemed to have mentally checked out. It could very well be turned around like you said.

Game week thread - Bills at Falcons MNF
BearNorth replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Falcon's have three skill positions that have killed Bills in the past. London - WR; Pitts - TE, Robinson - RB, all among the top at their position. Our defense isn't ready for prime time. Our wide receivers aren't ready for prime time. They also have a solid interior D line, and watching NE game film, sure they will be clamping down on James Cook. Puts Josh in a tough spot I would say, esp since they have had extra time to scheme. Divine Deablo is one of the top LB's in the league this year and likely will be spying Josh. -
You love to hate the WR's and specifically Keon. You overrate and said he's immature etc based on McDermott's benching FOR ONE SERIES. Do you think if he was a problem in the locker room that he would only sit out one series? Do you know how fast Samuel is? Dalton Kincaid's avg is 14.4, Keon Coleman is 11. Shakir avg is 11 as well.. Josh is 9th in the league in yards per completion. Are you sure we don't have a downfield passing attack? PS we also have the number 2 RB in terms of yards in the NFL... maybe you need to fking relax and stop being so negative.. holy cow.

There are multiple factors in gold's rise. A quick look at the value of gold in Swiss francs suggests that about 1/3 of the rise in the price in USD is due to excess inflationary expectations in the US. Gold is up YTD about 30% in USD, about 20% in CHF. I have long had about 10% of my retirement portfolio in gold, so I'm (personally) happy, but generally concerned. Laddered TIPS are also great, and I've shifted to about a 60/40 domestic US to international equities mix over the course of the year. Some International equities are seeing a boost from the dollar's depreciation.

For all you McDermott haters, who would you want? (Now a poll)

One thing that's been on my mind and this feels like the best thread to post it, is I have a growing uncertainty about Joe Brady. I've praised him for knowing what his players do well and leaning into those strengths, and I stand by that. I think that is his best trait as an OC. However I don't think he excels at understanding where the opponent is vulnerable and game planning around those weaknesses. It kind of feels like every week we just come in playing our brand of offense regardless of the defensive personnel or play calls. There's a thin line between maintaining your identity and being stubborn. I think Brady has crossed that line too much this year. Pats game is a perfect example. I'm stealing this informatiom from Joe Marino's all-22 analysis. Leading up to the game Joe said the Pats have weak coverage LBs, and that one of our priorities should have been to get them into their base personnel and throw the ball into it. In his all-22 analysis he revealed that we got them into base personnel on 14 plays. But we only passed on 2 of those plays. Both passes were 20 yard completions to Kincaid. The 12 runs averaged 2.8 YPC... That represents a massive missed opportunity. We got the looks we wanted but didn't take advantage on nearly enough of them because our identity is that we run out of heavy personnel and that's that. Stubbornness hurt the offense on Sunday night. Brady is a pretty simple OC and that just isn't a great match with below average pass catching talent. He doesn't do a great job of putting defenders in conflict and scheming his players open, and our players aren't talented enough to work open all on their own. So it's a bad marriage and the only possible solution this season is to add better pass catching talent because Brady obviously isn't going anywhere. -

Getting to Know Kamala and Her Successes in Office
Steve O replied to JDHillFan's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Nothing new here. Does anyone have a clip of her saying something when she doesn't sound absolutely hammered? Oh wait, she's dead serious about our strong and enduring alliance with the Republic of North Korea. Wonder if her supporters can identify the mistake in her speech? -
So, seeing as how I suppose you feel about the NFL and the Bills, do you get pissed when they lose? Will you celebrate if they win a Super Bowl? And why to either if you think it was a rigged outcome? You are comparing apples to oranges. If you think a sporting event is rigged and you give it a minute of your time, thatās incredibly head scratching.

Outside of DeAndre Hopkins, I cant think of many more Clemson Tigers that had successful careers recently. Tee Higgins might be at the top. Maybe DJ Reader and Dexter Lawrence. But given the level of that program over the last 20 years, you'd think theyd have a lot more. Personally I'm not surprised as I'm not much of a believer/fan of Clemson.

A Few Thoughts about the Pats Game - Post yours as well
ChronicAndKnuckles replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Diggs was playing for his ego. Thatās his biggest motivation. His own self. He wanted the prime time audience to see how much better he was than Josh Allen and responsible for his success. Meanwhile, Allen has never said anything about Diggs in the media. Itās the most one-sided beef Iāve ever seen. Buffalo paid him handsomely, gave him a great QB, and made him one of the most targeted receivers during his time here. I donāt get it and I never will, but I canāt wait until his true character comes out once he stops reaching his target quota. -
What did you do to cause the Bills to lose?

Billieved. Fool me once . . . . -
Canāt have enough injury prone players. In all seriousness it makes sense given he knows the system and can step in should Milano miss extended time. Will he play more than a game before getting injured is anyoneās guess.

Why Is The Price Of Gold Going So High?
sherpa replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Gold's value in dollars or any currency illuminate an economic truth, as do real estate, stocks or any asset. Those items are based on the value of a currency whose value is determined by governments with their fiscal policy. Never a good bet to hold assets in a gov determined value.
