Soft on crime Democrats - the system is the problem?
nedboy7 replied to Big Blitz's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Reminds me of Trump. -
What a special kid. Beanes 2nd best draft pick. KC got so very lucky these last to playoff games. He’s the difference imo.

Even after the certainty that he was headed for the practice squad there was still plenty of unhappiness about his return. Strangely enough, this topic appears to be a Jordan-safe Zone. Yes Hamler doesn't give the Bills anything that Samuel and Moore doesn't already give them. Ralph is cheap! Agreed. In the majority of cases the talent is indistinguishable and teams feel more comfortable retaining players that are familiar known quantities and that have already been in the playbook.

Bills Initial Roster - No real surprises

Adding Poyer was a surprise to me, but I think I like the move. He’s a good mentor for Bishop and Rapp and he’s probably an upgrade over Hamlin. -
Playoff record, rule changes and the Bills

Not to get off topic, but I never realized until you mentioned the Eagles being the first team to win as the 2nd seed in the new format, that It’s Crazy that they hosted 3 straight playoff games -
Helluva story to go from a camp body guy signed in the last 2 weeks of the Camp/Pre-Season to making the Practice Squad. But he's still got a long way to go before he 'wrecks dreams and crushes hopes". He's still got to earn the right to stay there and separate himself from the pack before we see him on the field on Sunday's regularly.

Really hard to predict at this point but the Josh draft aside, this is Beane’s best draft. There’s 7 potential starters in it and the Bills did need a draft like that to tilt the scales for a Superbowl. For the very limited action we’ve seen of these guys, Walker has caught my eye. Definitely something there.

Who will be 2025 Draft Class MVP?

I like Walker too. -
I continue to be completely unperturbed about the safety position. Hopefully Bishop will rise to the occasion so that 2nd round pick won't have been a total waste. If not and Hamlin or Poyer need to fill in, so be it. They'll both hit their landmarks and we'll just have to scheme around their athletic limitations. It's not fatal. I actually think Poyer might be a better option than Hamlin if push comes to shove. The DL just has to be much better this year. And we need average play from our CB2. And we need the play calling to be better. If all of those things happen no one is going to care about starting one replacement level player at safety.

Bad ass mofo that is going to wreck dreams and crush hopes. Deal with it.

He went full Billstime. Never go full Billstime.

I don't think his numbers will flash being a DT, but high hopes for TJ Sanders. I think he is going to be a stud in the middle for us. I still think once he comes back from injury Mad Max makes some really big plays for us late in the season and in the playoffs. I too was hyped on Landon Jackson, now I'm left wondering if he even gets a jersey on game day if there aren't injuries.

Wtf happened to this dude?
-
Not surprised they were cut am a bit surprised Shenault, Davidson, & Mike Edwards didn't make the PS. But do think the injuries to White and Hairston plus the suspensions which caused them to sign Phillips and Bishops injury and somewhat underwhelming camp causing them to sign Poyer took away some spots on the PS

Allen vs Mahomes, is this a controversial take?
Buffalo716 replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
There's a difference between losing your best wide receiver in week 5 and losing guys 6 days before a playoff game There's a reason why I never mentioned people like von Miller in the injuries because he was done so early and we are a professional team and we adjust The Chiefs had weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks and weeks to adjust for all of their injuries We literally got them on the fly in the Ravens and had to go to Kansas City in 6 days They're not comparable.. if the bills had 10 weeks of the roster they would have a better grasp.. that's actually a fact and we still barely lost Their injuries happened with a long time for them to adjust as a professional team we had six days When they lost a starting safety and a starting corner versus us Gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice.. that's what happens when you lose them and you don't have weeks of preparation time for a win or take all game They lost two guys Gabe Davis look like Jerry Rice... We are always playing them without two or three or four starters and we are losing field goal games When Benford went down we were without our best safety and best corner and 5 other key defenseman nursing injuries -

I'm pretty sure if he wanted you to eat, appetite would be found. Killed his mother and wife allegedly before offing himself at 30. Crazy ride. -
I just think a lot of teams and players invested a lot of time in each other and players knows that teams playbook and vice versa so they don’t need to spend time teaching a new guy so they don’t miss a beat when their in game week.
