  2. I believe the original plan was for AJ McCarron to start for the 1st few games to half a season & then put Josh in, but McCarron wasn't very good, got hurt & then when the Bills planned to start Peterman after he had played better than McCarron in camp & preseason, McCarron wanted out & got traded to the Raiders. Personally, I wanted Josh to start day 1 & was disappointed he didn't. He had a terrible O-line & WRs, but he learned a lot & by the Miami game at the end of the season his career was on an upward trajectory. The only glitch was a mid season injury that kept him out a month. Nobody will ever convince me that starting a rookie QB ruins him. There are so many success stories from QBs who were thrown in early & no matter how bad they struggled in the beginning, they learned so much their rookie years by playing, that they went on to have great careers. Sometimes, you even get a rookie who lights it up from day 1 & never looks back.
  3. And I think that it's part of the issue. How many top 10 wide receivers are there in the league? 10. How many of those top 10 receivers are there on a single team? Maybe you can argue that one team has 2? But so far this year it looks like that's not the case When you look at how people rate the quarterbacks it is drastically different than the top two wide receivers. People give a lot more leeway to a good quarterback being great.
  4. I've only been wrong a couple times so I can understand how stupid people think. 🤣
  5. No reason for the HGH etc, anymore, looks like a normal big guy, don’t get me wrong, I don’t care that “ most” players juice, it’s part of the game,
  6. My take is Kamara receiving production is not really anything you can compare with Cook. Perhaps cook would be capable of this in some other offense or with a different focus, but it's just night and day. I've never thought they were super similar players.
  7. I see some similarities but Kamara is the more polished all-purpose RB. His receiving prowess stands out. Career games: Kamara 118 Cook 52 1,000 yards rushing: Kamara 0 Cook 2 100yd rush games: Kamara 11 Cook 9 Rush TDs: Kamara 61 Cook 24 Receving TDs: Kamara 25 Cook 7 Avg Rush GM: Kamara 59 Cook 56.2 Avg Rec GM: Kamara 40.8 Cook 18.3 Avg Total Yds GM: 99.8 to 74.5
  8. In his best years, he had Drew Brees at QB, and Mark Ingram as the Thunder to Kamara's Lightning. As others have said, I would love to see Cook utilized a little more in the passing game.
  9. Can't make it up. Lefty hated the government so much he shot up an ice van. And ended up shooting and killing immigrants......
  10. I think Option B, at least Ciarlo is almost a guarantee. Using Zions last call up would be poor mgt, when they could've put Ed on IR.
  11. His supporters keep ignoring the fact the evidence that proves the crime is on tape and was declassified. The old regime was keeping the evidence hidden. The left doesn't care. They are in 1790 France mood.
  12. No doubt. He’s become a star. Just continues to improve in all aspects. His vision, patience, explosion is top tier. His power was always lacking but is now extremely tough through contact. Contact balance has come a long way as has his ball security. He’s been good as a receiver but would like to see him used more in the pass game. He could be Marshall Faulk 2.0 if his receiving game reaches what we thought he’d it would be when when we drafted him. He’s dam good and worth the contract 💯
  13. So ghadaffi pays to get him in office. Then he leads the charge to have ghadaffi killed. And in turn Americans and an ambassador was killed. Some evil *****. Explains why Hillary was on board
  14. another leftist d-bag with an over inflated sense of self importance
  15. It was talked about during that season where the intent was to start him but after he took 5 sacks and got forced out of the game at end of 1st half for concussion evaluations. After the game, they felt it was dangerous to put him out there between how bad the OL was looking and Allen holding the ball too long resulting in too many hits and sacks. So they decided to try and hold off putting him out there right away, but NP was never intended to be the season long starter and was never named the season long starter, just that he woud start week 1 in more of an ongoing evaluation of the QB position. The QB room that year actually started with AJ as the "vet", Allen as the future, and NP as the guy really more competing to be a backup. The hope was Allen would be ready early, but if not, the guy to buy some time was supposed to be AJ, but not only did he stink, he got hurt, so that left Allen as the guy they planned to start until he got smashed for an entire half with 5 sacks and the concussion scare. So after NP had a solid 2nd half, they decided it was safer to start NP week 1 and give them more time with Allen to get him ready. And by halftime week 1, NP was so bad they just decided to give Allen another look that 2nd half and after watching the tape they decided Allen was ready enough.
  16. I had to look it up, and was surprised that Kamara is “only” 30. It just feels like he’s been around forever.
  17. Cook has really impressed me with physical running between the tackles this past year. His ball security has also been immensely improved. He may not be a big bruiser, but the kid runs very hard. He's making it very difficult for Davis to get on the field.
  18. the more he is a baby about it, the worse it is going to get. He was now griping about quiet mumbling in the crowd around the green. He needs to ignore the small stuff and play through it.
  19. Home country advantage is one thing. The kind of crap being spewed at him, including yelling as he’s starting his swing, is another. He and his teammates are kicking ass. Hindsight is 20/20 of course but picking Morikawa was a bad move.
  20. If you know a team’s proclivity to steal and how… seems like you already know how to stay a step ahead by using that to take advantage of what they think your team is going to do. That’s the best way to make them think twice about it.
