That seems to be a reasonable game plan to me in the situation they're in, but if the Texans some how get up 10 points or more early, I would not be all that surprised if Harbaugh/Monken abandon the run and have Rush trying to throw all over the field. FYI: I'm not a big Harbaugh, just in case you didn't realize that.

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF
Buffalo4Life01 replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
The way many on this board seem to be so frightened about the mighty Patriots coming to town this Sunday, I don't how you'll make it through the week when much better teams like the Bucs, Chiefs, and Eagles come to town! -
Truth is the Dolphins have a better chance 😜

Strong chance Ravens miss playoffs?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to TFBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think part of it is - the 3 hardest games on their schedule were @buf, @KC, and Det and those are all done. 3 AFCE games that are all winnable, 5 divisional games that are all winnable. Minnesota doesn't have a QB, winnable. Chicago isn't very good, winnable. Patriots in baltimore in december feels pretty winnable. Probably the toughest game left is GB. Really they need to get to 2-4 at the bye, and try and come back healthy with a 2-game week against chicago and miami which would potentially have them at .500 going into november with something resembling positive momentum. -
You watched the game on tv?

NOW is Bobby Babich's seat hot?
5ths the charm replied to Mister Defense's topic in The Stadium Wall
Our run defense ranks at the basement of the league. If we could figure out how to shut down more runs, we would be much more effective. Although that may expose our DB's as they would have to throw more then. -
3rd round draft pick snap counts
Maine-iac replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll own it. My rant draft night. Was posting this before we drafted Jackson. -
Both things could be true, his lack of separation could be hindering him from being an elite WR but he's still a quality player contributing in multiple ways. The team doesn't need Keon to be a Diggs level superstar they just need him to be a quality boundary WR who can win outside matchups here or there.

Strong chance Ravens miss playoffs?
Bleeding Bills Blue replied to TFBillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well... Cooper rush is starting in a must-win game, so i'm going to expect them to try and get henry 25+ carries, and 40+ carries as a team. -
The Ravens have some seriously bad mojo going on right now. If they lose to Houston I think the wheels come off that bus. If Lamar is really injured and the team isn’t running interference for him because he quit on them (which he has done before), then his #1 weapon (his agility) is going to be seriously hampered. He’s not a drop back passing QB. They weren’t playing well when everyone was healthy, so I don’t know why people think they can go on a 9-2 run.
-
He leads all of our skill players in snaps (even over Cook), targets, receptions, and yards. Not saying he should be free from all criticism but Josh and Joe Brady clearly like him a lot. I don’t think that would be the case if his lack of separation was as hindering as some people make it out to be.

Game week thread - Pats at Bills SNF

That "disciplined crew" had 5 turnovers in week 3. -
They need to want to run the ball, but I don't think Harbaugh and Monken do. Monken was brought in to rev up the Baltimore passing game and work with Lamar to be a better passer. He's succeeded, but even though the Ravens have a stout OL and great RBs, they don't use them as they should. I think the 4th quarter of the Bills game demonstrates that. Harbaugh chose to trust his defense over his RBs and it cost them a win.
-
They need to play this week like they did against the Jets. That was the one game where the Bills dominated all around. Need that type of effort Sunday night. The Pats are a middle of the pack type of team. If this game was in NE, then I could see a real chance for an upset. In OP an upset could still happen but the Bills at home are really strong. Even when they don't play their best they find ways to win like the Ravens game for example.

Hypothesizing? Looks to me like you're pre-excusing an improvement - attributing an anticipated improvement to McD to allow you to keep your negative bias alive no matter the result with New England. And Fundamental problem? How about personnel? Wouldn't it be possible that improvement against New England might come with Ed and Milano back? -
Seasons can end fast in the wildcard round. Everyone here in Cincinnati was so happy to have made the postseason, and it will most likely be over in just two days.

Hey, I'm known among my Bills fan friends as insanely positive and even I was bitching about him during the game and between PFF, Joe Marino, and Brandon Thorn, I'm willing to admit that I was probably wrong. Having first heard of him when meeting his parents at an NJ Bills bar (and he was on the PS), I'm glad to be wrong.

Just looking at the young players on the team (non-rookies), the D is lagging behind. Cook is delivering big time at present, Shakir is steady and clutch as expected. Keon and Kincaid are taking steps forward and their production has increased. Torrence has had his best start to a season this year. Only Ray Davis has been a non-factor so far with minimal touches. On D posters are asking whether Rousseau is still on the roster, Benford's performance versus last year seems to have slipped, Bernard just looks small and unremarkable the one interception aside. Dorian Williams has not yet stepped up fully when his number has been called. Solomon has had opportunities to flash but has not. Epenesa is decent but not the hoped for "game changer". At least Cole Bishop is trending in the right direction and in the one game he has played, Ed Oliver was immense. Let's see what Hoecht and Ogunjobi can offer us when their suspensions are over. In my view we need to see the homegrown extended defensive players on their second contracts to really step up and deliver for us, right here right now and for the playoffs as well.

I don't think we see Milano for at least another month, if at all this season. Oliver has not even had a practice since the injury so I am just hoping he is back for the KC game. This defense needs to get healthy and they SHOULD be able to get by the Pats, Falcons and Panthers with either of those guys. -

This is a random political thread. I was just asking you a question. -
Are you able too? I normally agree with most everything you say, but this is ignoring the evidence in front of you to promote your theory or agenda. I’m not sure which. But I can’t back you up on this one. It’s pretty clear it was a left wing ideological nutcase responsible for this. Hey, if you have any evidence in regards to your beliefs I would love to hear it Another thing, when you have the radical leftists on here having your back, it is not a good thing.

Takes Fried out after 99 pitches, no pinch runner for Goldschmidt after he gets on base. I am done with Boone. Rodon needs to pitch the game of his life and the Yanks better score early and often to get the lead by more than just one run. Let's Go Yankees. Season is on the line today.
