Beane in the 2nd round: 2018: traded as part of the move-up-for-Allen-and Edmunds strategy 2019: Cody Ford, drafted as RT. Bust from that perspective, though injuries may have played a role; started 9 games at G for Bengals last season 2020: AJ Epenesa. Slow start to his career, but signed 2nd contract with the team and seemed to take a step last year 2021: Boogie Basham. Bust from the perspective of quality DE for us. 2022: James Cook. Just signed 2nd contract 2023: O'Cyrus Torrence: thought we liked him? 2024: Cole Bishop. Early to tell, but looking like he doesn't "get it" so far 2025: TJ Sanders: Def too early to tell. So if we give Beane a mulligan on 2018 and a TBD for 2024 and 2025 (which I think we should) we have 5 2nd round picks, 3 good, 2 busts so 60% That's actually rather better than what I believe to be league average for back of the 1st/2nd round, which I think is like 30-40%

They cut Ray Davis?!?!
-
Probably Hancock, the other rookie from OSU.
-
Cap room if we're truly -600k against the cap if we cut Ogunjobi we could free up $3.3 million if I'm not mistaken.
-
Ya know the phrase "I couldn't care less"? Well, this is a prime example of the perfect time to use it.
-
The Bills are really scrambling for a CB.
-
He's average, or slightly below average, with some flashes of above average to good. Hamlin's problem is that at any one time, he's likely the weakest link on the Defense, which naturally means teams will target him, further exposing his play. This happens on every team, but especially those that have good talent elsewhere. See: Rasual Douglas (2024), Dane Jackson, Levi Wallace, etc.
-
Of course he is Can't wait for those 2026 draft picks to make an impact this year!
-
Why would that be surprising, he started last year and has been Safety 3 all summer. shocker?
-
-
Just waiting for my invite to the wedding.
-
how many more cuts have to happen? 8?
-
I have a feeling these two will produce some of the most annoying and self entitled offspring this world has seen since Deion Sanders started reproducing.
-
For clarity, does this mean he can't be IR designated to return?
-
To be fair, EVERY team struggled against the Ravens. One of the only teams that is elite at both running & passing the ball. Some teams you just have to accept that they’re going to score points and hope for a turnover/mistake (which Babich/McD did masterfully.) To shut down a HOF RB and QB is asking a ton.
-
Levi Wallace just added to his Instagram story that he is in Buffalo. https://www.instagram.com/stories/leviwallace/

He won the job last year because all the players they brought in to compete ended up missing all of camp. Bishop played a few games early and looked lost - can't have wide open 80 yard TDs to the other teams best player. If anything i felt more shaky with Lewis and Williams last year.
-
It means he is on the active roster, most likely to put him on IR. Not sure if it be long term or short term, I'd think the first and then we can pursue a replacement after cutdown deadline.
-
The defense was such a mess last year, we spent a whole offseason trying to fix it.

Dolphins Sign Rasul Douglas
Captain Hindsight replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
As they should have. Dane Jackson is done too. Some sign young fast guys and lets go -
Maybe McGovern got the West Nile virus and will be out week 1 🤔
-
I think many of us don't feel he is an average player. Many of us feel if he wasn't on the Bills roster he wouldn't be on any roster, thus far below an average player. And lastly many of us are worried that his story clouds the judgement on his ability. Im happy for him. Its a great story. Hopefully Bishop plays well and he hardly sees the field.

That is big news for Lundt in not a good way. Either that or they are trading RVD. Can’t see them keeping 10 this year. Big news though for IOL depth since I was a bit worried about that because Grable/RVD haven’t played it in the NFL and Lundy struggled there in Preseason

We're talking about England. Following along is tough for u.
