  1. Past hour
  2. I never lived in Buffalo, so I've had very few interactions with players. The best I've got was 2 people seeing my Bills jersey at the Houston airport, then coming over to talk to me. They ended up being Taron Johnson's parents, which was super cool to hear them brag on their son. Other than that, something I remember & won't shut up about: 9 x Pro Bowler, 4 x All Pro Ruben Brown. I remember that well, and it still bums me out he's not even on the Wall of Fame.
  3. The word is You're. The issue isnt about immigration. Its about illegal immigration. Otherwise killer post.
  4. And from that you arrived at the description of “self-hating”. Seems ugly but whatever floats your boat.
  5. "Bias by omission" is an NPR specialty.
  6. Not really. For example, Nick Van Exel averaged 14-3-6 for his career, but everybody knows he was a hooper, an innovator and extremely difficult to guard. It's kind of like that.
  7. https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2025/06/23/exclusive-israel-intelligence-iran-call-audio/ In the hours after Israel launched its first wave of strikes against Iran on June 13, killing top military leaders and nuclear scientists, Israeli intelligence operatives launched a covert campaign to intimidate senior officials with the apparent aim of dividing and destabilizing Tehran’s theocratic regime, according to three people familiar with the operation. People working for Israel’s security services who speak Persian, Iran’s primary language, called senior Iranian officials on their cellphones and warned them that they, too, would die unless they ceased supporting the regime of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s supreme leader, according to the three people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss clandestine operations. One of them estimated that more than 20 Iranians in positions of power were contacted. The Washington Post obtained an audio recording and transcript of one such call, which took place the same day, June 13, that Israel began its bombardment of Iran. “I can advise you now, you have 12 hours to escape with your wife and child. Otherwise, you’re on our list right now,” an Israeli intelligence operative told a senior Iranian general close to the country’s rulers, according to the audio recording. The operative then suggested that Israel could train weapons on the general and his family at any moment. “We’re closer to you than your own neck vein. Put this in your head. May God protect you,” he said. The general, a member of Iran’s powerful Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, was told he had 12 hours to make a video disassociating himself from the Iranian government. “How should I send it to you?” the general replies. “I will send you a Telegram ID,” the operative says, referring to the Telegram messaging app. “Send it.” It is unclear if such a video was made or sent. The general is believed to be still alive and in Iran, said one of the people familiar with the operation. But a primary goal of the operation was to deter and confuse the Tehran leadership, a second person said. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office did not reply to a request for comment.
  8. I want to win a SB, but its entertainment first and foremost
  9. That's high praise coming from Chad, who had the best feet I've ever seen a the WR position. The "And1" label is a perfect one and likely why he gave Revis so much trouble. Stevie wasn't predictable.
  10. I like this one
  11. Your jealous of immigrants. They have jobs and a work ethic. You have mom's basement
  12. Jerry Crafts. Some of you remember way back when (92'-95), I knew Jerry as he grew up in Tulsa, and his mom and stepdad were still here. In 93/94, I drove up to Buffalo with my Wife, and Jerry got me in the locker room on Saturday each time. I still have a game ball signed in Silver Sharpie from almost every member of the 1993 team, which was the last to play in a Super Bowl to date. He was solid, tried to do a good job, but his weight held him back, that and a bad divorce from his wife toward the end of his time here. Good guy overall.
  13. Reminder, homelander is a troll and the saddest person on this board by a wide margin. It's sad I know but don't pay him attention and maybe he will go away.
  14. I've not been a fan of Greenwald for a long time. I think he is incredibly naive in his view of the world. Championing Edward Snowden. Supporting Trumpism given all that comes with it (and yes, that includes backtracking on LGBT rights). And so now everyone sees that.
  15. We've been through this before. I havent watched a combined 20 minutes of Fox News in my entire life. Not cosplaying a Patriot in the least. Just using my God given common sense not to side with terrorists and illegal immigrants. I think my "rant" was pretty straight forward. No paranoia. No insults. Again, just reading your own words and making observations. There were plenty of names I could have called you. Instead, I just let you bury yourself.
  16. Pete Metzelaars - he was a member of the country club that I tended bar at during the summers when I was in college; he had to duck his head walking into the dining room or he would have gotten hit right in the forehead by a wooden beam... also, he was very shy and unassuming... If they made a fable about him and Keon Coleman it would be called "The Tortoise and the Tortoise"
  17. Doesn't pass the smell test... Milwaukee Brewers... 1969 Clippers/Braves since 1970. The Brewers were the Seattle Pilots in 1969. Moved to Milwaukee in 1970. EDIT: 😠😡 Never ***** -ing mind! AL Pennant in 1982! Wasn't that the Stike year?
  18. Best screen game I have ever seen and he had a wide variety of them and they all were designed and worked exceptionally well... I remember the one year when Spiller was electric, he became a huge weapon catching screens...almost once a game during that year he was turning screens into huge gains. I would also like to have seen CJ Spiller in this offense...he could have been a 1500 yard back...I forgot how electric he was and what a great reciving back he was...watching his highlights was like "Whoa!"
  19. Well maybe if the NFL would let fans set off fireworks during a game,,,
  20. Brandon Spoon he was what we all thought Joe Andreessen turned out to be
  21. That isn't accurate for me. I think Lamar Jackson is a tremendous player who is light years better than Cam ever was. Newton was a sub 60 percent career passer with one great year (2015) on his resume. He was also a childish clown with no leadership abilities. Oh, and he quit on his team in the Super Bowl.
  22. You guessed. You even got the Friggin part which was common among fandom.
  23. Dmitri Medvedev, former President of Russia and current Deputy Chair of the Security Council of the Russian Federation dropped a bombshell. Without specifying who, he asserts that "a number of countries are ready to directly supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads." One presumes that of the countries with nuclear weapons, North Korea would be the obvious one willing to provide Iran with a nuke. However, that is not a "number of countries," and the only other two that could conceivably do so are Russia and China. Currently, only the US, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, China, India, Pakistan, Israel, and North Korea have nukes. Which of these countries would part with their nukes is an odd question. It's hard to know how serious Medvedev is, or how influential he would be in deciding something of this magnitude. China seems like it would be far too cautious to do so, and it would be a wild decision for Russia to make. Also of interest in this statement is Medvedev's admission that Iran has been pursuing a nuclear weapon already, despite claims to the contrary. "We can now say it outright" is a confirmation of what we all knew already. Iran intended to build nukes. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/06/22/dmitri-medvedev-a-number-of-countries-ready-to-gift-iran-nukes-n3804061
  24. He's 73 and hasn't coached since 2020 with Miami. I feel like the game might have passed him by at this point.
