Mecole Hardman, Come on Down! (Signed to Practice Squad)
The Jokeman replied to bills742's topic in The Stadium Wall
I guess we could have moved up and drafted a WR like Matthew Golden in the first round? or stayed put with our top pick and took Luther Burden? -
Nashville has gotten ridiculous because they are the IT city now & they have a really good tax structure too, as I said a friend is paying $3k a month to rent a 3 bed 2 bath home, a 1 bedroom apt. goes from $1800 a month and just dow the street from my home a builder bought some farm land and built homes that are 2100 Sq ft and up that START at $650 K just totally a greed driven thing . I have no idea how a young couple with possible college debt, car payments and possible young children would eve be able to incur that kind of debt there's just no way wages have not grown as fast as the greed or as they say the "Supply & Demand" has dictated those prices .

McDermott statement in presser is telling concerning our offense
BillsVet replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Was thinking of this style of offense, but not for implementing it obviously. Bear Bryant's Alabama teams were not championship level in the latter 1960s. Secretly during one off-season, he decided to install the wishbone offense and his teams won another 3 championships in the 70s. I'm not a college football history but, but that story stood out to me how a famed college coach changed when something wasn't working. The example is long ago and other factors are involved in doing this, but great leaders adapt when the environment changes. And then there are types like McDermott who keep steering the ship where he wants it to go believing their plan cannot fail. -
The Bills were high bidders for Waddle, tried acquiring Williams
Cuboirs replied to babulator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Waddle is worth 2 1st on our team -
I wonder if there has ever been a HC who missed the playoffs after having an MVP QB the season before. If not, Sean could be the first. Put it up there with 13 seconds and handing the OC job to a rookie OC with Josh and Diggs in their primes.

absolutely!! This is our identity. I am tired of trying to run from it.

Thank you to all the Veterans here for serving our country.

The Jokeman replied to babulator's topic in The Stadium Wall
and what WR1 was moved this past offseason do you suggest we should have acquired? Cuz last I checked the only one you could say was acquired was Diggs that many felt New England over paid based on his injury status and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't be signing here. -
Also the field is more condensed with the tight splits and lack of wideouts,

Shakir is basically a gadget WR. A really good one at that. He has his own separation issues like the rest of our WR room when he's asked to run normal slot routes. And he hasn't looked quite as slippery to me this year. Shakir last year would have scored on that 2PC he missed against Miami. I think the ankle sprain is probably still bothering him a bit. Not that I blame Shakir in the slightest for this offensive performance. It's not his fault he's being asked to do things he can't do well and defenses are able to give his gadget plays extra focus. That all falls on the GM.

Your 2025 Democrat Party - the New Red Guard

I hope that the people voting for her realize that her only desire for a state senator position is to use them for a stepping stone, certainly not to "represent" them. . -

Exactly. As soon as he's in football shape (and he should be close after going through the Packers TC). At the VERY least he's a good return guy and that can be enough to get him a game day jersey. Then let him run a few Go routes to try and keep safeties back. Can open a lot. Who are you finding at this point in the season? Justin Jefferson isn't walking through the door. This is a guy that has Super Bowl experience, BIG GAME EXPERIENCE, speed and is a good return guy on top of it. He also had made visits with other teams, most notably the Saints and Steelers. So, no he wasn't just sitting home playing Battlefield 6 and eating Nachos -
Every human being, no matter how elite in their field, will exhibit a range in their performance over time. if Bean/McD/Brady thought Allen would play at an MVP level for two consecutive seasons they were crazy. As for Allen's play this year and looking at his stats, I would suggest he is playing at an elite but not at an MVP level: Passing: 70.3% completion rate; 2139 yards; 15 TD's & 5 INT's and a QB rating of 105.7 Rushing: 311 yards; 7 TD's & 2 lost fumbles Total Offensive Output: 2450 yards; 22 TD's & 7 TO's. He's on pace here for a season with 4626 total yards; 41 TD's & 13 TO's. So yes, obtaining a true WR1 in the off season should have been a high priority for Bean. Allen's performance to date supports the idea that adding a WR1 over the summer would have resulted in the Bills being in a much better place then they are now.

“So proud of my guy for putting people over politics after seven weeks!” - the unaware dumbass once known as Redhawk

No thanks. This offense is already 1 dimensional, Brady needs to find more ways to get playaction/WRs time to get downfield into intermediate areas or get more diverse with the route cominations. And Gabe Davis is the answer lol. No... not even sure he is fully healthy yet. We are so desperate for anything right now, but more Alec Anderson or more Gabe Davis is not it. Beane made this mess and its going to take until next offseason to fix.

I worked under your FAA @PeteButtigieg and, after 34 years, mostly as an Air Traffic Controller, I retired because of how you and the Biden administration, to use your words, ***** on every employee at the FAA and ruined a once fine agency. You allowed men into my office bathroom. I had to work with and for people you hired and promoted because of the color of their skin or who they have sex with who were wholly and completely unqualified for their job. You FORCED me to inject an experimental dangerous drug into my body in order to keep my job and paycheck. As for what the current ATC's "have been through", every single one of them is eligible for an interest-free loan program which their credit unions initiate during every government shutdown. As well, they all can withdraw from their TSP accounts. Every FAA employee knows these are both well established, common practices during shutdowns, so the only ones not coming to work are the ones making a political statement. President Trump is right to call them out. You, sir, can sit down and shut up.

I blame the women he is with for this. Hailee probably talked josh into a session with her therapist who then promoted the Low Positive mindset. I want this Josh back

Battle for the Division: Bill and Pats remaining games poll.
boyst replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
right now we matchup too well against Phili to call that a loss. i tihnk we win it. i think we beat the Bucs. i think we fall to Houston - that's a staunch defense. the patriots won't lose to both the Ravens and Bills, but could lose to 1. they may get the Yankees fear playing the Ravens and be scared of them but that doesn't mean they should lose. they could also suffer a slump because they peaked awful early and drop one to the the Jets or someone they shouldn't. -
The reason he isn't running is because every defensive line is keeping a spy or spies on him and focusing on containing him. Whenever he does take off the defenders close on him fast and its usually a loss of yardage. Its similar to way we try to play Lamar and the way we just played Mahomes. Seems to be why rolling to his right isn't a cure all this year. And since our WRs cant get open, nobody is scared of an 8 second scramble drill.

I'm thinking there won't be any worry that Brady is going to be hired as a head coach anytime soon.
