Walker has been playing some 1 with Daquan jones playing the 3 when they are on the field together It's been a lot more frequent than just for a snap or two. I am not debating that he IS a 1 tech, just that they have been playing him in that spot with more frequency since Olivers injury. Its interesting.

Lamar quit on his team. Disagree if you want but it was fairly obvious. It was the immediate topic in many of our chats before anything else popped up online. He didnt grab at his hammy, he didnt even limp off the field, he went right to the bench to pout and there was no training staff around him. He is an amazing athletic specimen. He is also very soft mentally and physically. That team needs something big to wake it up and turn it around. Not sure if firing the DC will be enough, but probably a good start.

if you are courting the international audience, he’s absolutely massive I think the nfl believes they have already cornered the football super fan market and we are not the primary concern with regards to growing Super Bowl engagement

I'll believe there's been a change to the defense when I see it. Every year we bring in new pieces to address the shortcomings but they persist. Obviously the most important thing right now is stacking wins, and what teams look like right now will different from the finished product. Get the one seed, stay healthy, and play your best football at the right time... But I can't help but think that whatever is perennially wrong with our defense will be the teams downfall again. Hopefully I'm wrong and it all comes together, or at least the offense can overcome.

Tigers/Cleveland will be fun, but to me, Seattle is in the best position in the AL. They will play the winner and have the pitching to shut them down. Meanwhile the Yanks have to navigate Crochet and Bello typically gives them trouble. They are not a slam dunk to beat Boston. Yanks bats run hot and cold. I can see them going to the World Series and can also see them getting swept by the Red Sox. They’d have the bye if they inserted Caballero and benched Volpe after the trade but Volpe has an Italian surname. If Grisham continues his Brady Anderson season that will help. I wonder how long before he gets suspended. It’s obvious. I’d love for the Reds to beat the Dodgers but can’t see it. Hunter Greene could make it an interesting start to the series. Cubs/Padres should be the best first round series. Both flawed teams but with pretty deep lineups and good but not deep pitching. If games are close the Padres bullpen is nasty but losing Jason Adam really hurt them. It might be what does them in. Can the Brewers maintain the regular season consistency in the playoffs? I think they have a shot if Woodruff is healthy enough to pitch. Priester’s surprising season helped them. I think the most likely WS matchup is Seattle vs. Philly but can see practically any combo that does not include the Tigers, Guards or Reds…..but I love what they did this year.
