Bo Nix and the Bronco's Defense - the Toughest Out for the Bills?

Bills broncos was a lot of people’s upset pick of the weekend and it got swept under the rug when they were very very wrong 😂

I think the Broncos are overrated but that Houston Defense is legitimately scary

I think the Texans are a tougher matchup than the Broncos.

All the advanced metrics and nerdy sh*t LOVED the broncos last year which is what led to all those upset picks.  I think they were probably a better ranked team last year in a lot of that stuff funny enough.  Not that it really matters ultimately it’s just an interesting observation

I saw something really interesting today that I had a hard time believing... that the Bengals won the time of possession essentially 40 minutes to 20 minutes and still lost to the Ravens.

 

WTH happened in that game?

I don't know what to make of Nix. He seems smart, and he makes nice throws, but I can't see him carrying a team like Allen, Mahomes, or Jackson can. 

 

Their defense is good but it's not demonic like Houston's is. It can be scored on.

Denver at altitude having had an extra weeks rest in the playoffs is going to be  a tough out for anyone.  This is why losing "meaningless" early season games to teams like the falcons is often the difference between teams that go to the super bowl and teams that lose playoff games on the road.

2nd place schedule. And Chiefs have a down year. Raiders have never been worse.

 

I don’t worry about Denver one bit.

they struggled against raiders x2. And the jets. Their D is the same as last year. Well pound them

 

only thing to worry about this year. Is the bills themselves. No more high variance. Just play mostly clean 3 games in a row

When a “soft zone , contain defense”  is the scheme, we won’t see that sort of aggression on that side of the ball, I hope to whomevers  god I turn out to be dead wrong, 🤞I’m hoping “things” all come together in that way as the season progresses!

Denver is a little bit inflated 

I think Denver would be really difficult. Their D is excellent and Nix and the offense do have some big play ability. Their DBs would own our WRs and Allen would have to ball out. Also a road game. I agree though Houston is a scary matchup for the Bills. They get so much pressure and can take away the scramble drills Josh thrives on. The Ravens always scare me but the Bills seem to force Lamar into mistakes even if Henry embarrasses them.

Could Be wrong, but I think the Denver defense’s weakness is against the run, and TEs/RBs in the pass game, and quick passing stuff— basically our entire offensive scheme.

I don't think Denver's defense is that great. It's good 

 

I think buffalo would run all over them and Allen would manage the game like Montana

I rank the risk of them higher than anybody outside of Houston. They're the most complete AFC team.
