Zach Taylor is a terrible HC

Brown is a terrible owner.

The organization is cheap and cuts every corner.

Burrow has missed the playoffs 3 years in a row now assuming they don't make it.

He's going to want out and Mike Brown will force him to retire just to "win" over the player instead of trading him.

Burrow's only hope is the Rams win the Super Bowl and Stafford retires and Snead is on the phone to the Bengals the next day with a starting offer of 2 1sts.

Does anyone doubt that Josh would have made this tackle?

Great player to watch. Just a shame he is employed by arguably the worst ownership in the league

wow not even close.  Browns Titans and Raiders

if the "worst ownership" resulted in Chase, Hggins, Boyd and a 1200 yard RB around Josh Allen all in the same year, posters here would rightfully fund the statue of the guy out front.

Dont confuse ownership with Front Office.

Bengals and Cardinals belong on the list of worst ownership.

How are they worse than Cleveland--far and away the worst ownership in history?  Or Tennessee?

How are you guys 5 teams deep and there's no mention of the Jets?

Why is there a “Happy birthday, Joe Burrow” thread on a Buffalo Bills forum? 🤔

Because unlike those pussies in New England, we're real football fans.

I still think a QB who can be systematic, accurate, and on time is the most dangerous skill set for a QB. Mobility is great, but out of structure isn't as predictable or consistent. Today's QB's are much better out of structure but very few have the consistency we have seen from the true pocket passers.

You’ve got to be able to read coverages and pass the ball accurately and on time, otherwise they might as well put a running back in at QB like Justin Fields. But the players that can do that AND run it, like Steve Young, Joe Montana, John Elway, or Josh Allen for example, are epic players.

Burrow had a big fourth quarter.

two interceptions, one for a TD, a fumble and a missed tackle.

I saw this earlier. This place would implode if Allen said any of this

There are still at least a handful of people online that blame Josh's ***** year on his marriage and the quote that he's "more than a QB". Burrow's isn't far off from how so many readers were taking Allen's comments.

If he would have stayed healthy this year, then the Bengals probably would have won their division despite having a minor league defense. With him also he gets hurt a lot. It seems like he misses significant time almost every year.

So many posters talking about the Bills “wasting” Josh Allen’s best years. But you could say that about Burrow, Jackson and Hebert (am I missing anyone?) as well.  KC and Mahones have blocked a pretty impressive group of QB’s from getting to the big game (other than the one appearance by Burrow).

Did you mean to include Bobby Hebert?

Did you all see this video clip of his media today? Guy sounds so low energy and there’s stuff going on in his head about his future.

If there was ever a "star" QB I would pick to not finish his career where he started, it's Burrow. I think he's tired of Cincy and wants out. Money is nice and all, but it can't buy you happiness.

He's also just an arrogant weirdo in general. MOST of those Met Gala types are.

I thought he was real, and I respect that. I mean, we look at him as a wealthy guy playing a kids game. But the question was around if he's having fun. He's missed multiple years with injury. Probably spent hundreds of hours in rehab. This is his job, it isn't always fun I'm sure. That's fine. Ideally not the take you want your QB to have, but honest which you don't always get.

“If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it,” Burrow said. “I have been through a lot. If it’s not fun, then what am I doing it for? That is the mind set I am trying to bring to the table.”

I’m not surprised to be honest. Some interesting comments from Joe.

The Quote 100% reads Andrew Luck to me.  When being a QB is more work than fun - it may be time to re-evaluate.

Luck had so much rehab and time away - it became no fun and he needed the break.

I can totally see Burrow the same way - he has been injured multiple times and missed the playoffs when healthy.

Sometimes you need a change - even if minor to refresh and get you back into the mindset and sometimes you need to step away.

https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/on-his-29th-birthday-joe-burrow-says-hed-like-to-have-fun-playing-football-again

"On Wednesday, Joe Burrow seemed to be the embodiment of Jerry Seinfeld’s deliberately dark attitude about birthdays.

Burrow, who turned 29 today, seemed to be dejected throughout much of his weekly press conference.

Initially, he thanked reporters and left after answering a couple of questions and a lull emerged. He returned to take more questions. And that’s when it got very interesting.

“If I want to keep doing this, I have to have fun doing it,” Burrow said at one point. “You know, I’ve been through a lot. And if it’s not fun, what am I doing it for?”

He then was asked whether it’s currently difficult to have fun.

“Yes, certainly,” he said.

He was asked when it changed from being fun.

“I’m not sure there was a singular moment or time,” Burrow said. “It’s just reflection. Reflection on a lot of things that I’ve done and been through in my career, I think. You know, I’ve been through more than most, and it’s certainly not easy on the brain or the body, so I’m just trying to have fun doing it again.”

Burrow later was told that he seems to have something on his mind, and that he seems to be frustrated.

“There’s just a lot of things going on right now,” Burrow said. “A lot of things going on right now.”

Football related or personally?

“All of the above,” Burrow said.

The Bengals obviously should be concerned about all of the above. It’s hardly a stretch, based on his words from Wednesday, to wonder whether he’s thinking about walking away from the game, or perhaps whether he’s thinking about trying to join a new team.

Maybe it’s just a temporary thing. Or maybe he’s doing some soul searching about his past journey, and his future path. Regardless, he said what he said on Wednesday. It was stunning to hear the words being spoken, and it’s even more jarring to see them reduced to writing."

I can see injuries messing with him.

We act like these guys only play football.

Last I checked, Burrow is a single guy.. maybe a gf, maybe not.. either way, constantly rehabbing from big time surgeries and constantly in pain isn’t exactly a great life, regardless of how much money you make.

If it’s a shot at the organization… I mean, you lobbied to get all your guys paid and they did that.   Having both Chase & Higgins comes at a price.
