In what was a microcosm of the season, after winning opening day 31-0, we went on to lose to the Patriots by the same score on the last game of the season. Ugh.

Dan Reeves was practically in tears after that game. He said something to the effect "that was the greatest defensive game he's ever been a part of" (holding our offense to 3 points) and it completely devastated him to lose a game like that.

He may have taken some solace in the fact that Washington used the exact same game plan in the Super Bowl to dominate a great Bills offense and win it.

That game was the week right after that amazing Broncos rally. It’s crazy how that team could just suddenly explode on an opponent.

Those NFL films soundtracks were amazing. It was like a sports opera playing out on the screen. Highlights are nothing like that anymore.

The only thing missing from Taron's pick six in the playoffs was a full stadium -- and it was still loud.

 

That has to be the tops in franchise history because of the sheer magnitude of the situation.  You simply can't compare a regular season moment to that.

So true... and we didnt have 24/7 access to footage and there was no replay, DVR etc... when they were on, we were waiting... and half the time if it was a home game you couldnt even see the highlights and you had to wait for the news...
