Josh is a marvel.  He deserves it imo he’s doing more with less than a lot of those QB above.  Beaner has to figure out a way  to get him a couple of legit wideouts.

It’s hysterical than the media drums up an MVP “competition” and I really hope the voters take a deep look at this (like they did last year) and realize there is one clear MVP in this league.

 

It's absolutely not Allen's to lose. I don't think you realize the difference between the MVP and the MVP award eball.

Normally I'd agree but him versus the field is pretty stark. The national narrative has become "Allen is doing this all on his own" and the MVP is a narrative award more than anything. It would break a longstanding trend from MVP voters but Allen has broken plenty of trends in his career. I'm not giving up on it yet. If we win out I think Allen gets it unless Stafford plays lights out the rest of the way. New England beating Miami and NJ to clinch the division won't change the narrative IMO.

 

FWIW I also called him winning it last year even after Lamar got the 1st team all pro. People said it was impossible after that outcome. I had a hunch and I have a similar hunch now.

I don't know I just don't see it. There are a ton of people who don't think he should have won last year. I don't think voters will be willing to break protocol for him.

 

But we'll see, if Stafford and the Rams collapse and Maye wins the division but has significantly worse numbers then Allen, who do you give it too? Not sure, so maybe there's a chance.

I put a few bucks on Allen for mvp at +1100 a couple weeks back.

The way the announcers were gobbling Maye's berries, you'd think he was the clear favorite. Josh is easily the best player in football imo, but still doesn't get the love some other QB'S get.

Right now it is Staffords and if the Rams win the #1 seed he deserves, because team wins should matter some. But if they falter and Josh gets us to the #1 seed I could see it happening

Listen to yourself. Why are team wins more important than an individual being most valuable player?

Allen should have 3-5 MVP and multiple SBs already. GOAT.
