Superbowl and playoff’s thoughts

Rams are legit. I don’t see Darnold holding up in the playoffs. Eagles just aren’t there this year. In the AFC if you eliminate the big name teams like Buffalo, KC, and Baltimore, I sort of like what the Jaguars are doing but think it’s probably Houston. That game Houston lost to Denver was going to to be a blowout when Stroud got hurt. I just think they’re the most dangerous team in the AFC right now.

Rams, Seahawks, Eagles, Pats, Broncos are the obvious five.

 

What really annoys me is if we had Oliver, Hoecht, and Bosa healthy we could beat any of them.

I can't believe some think the Pats might win the sb.  No way.  I think any playoff team can beat them.

 

I also think we look completely different offensively in the playoffs.  You take away cook then Josh is gonna run down your throat.  We'll figure out the passing game by then.

The Bills played a similar schedule other than 3 games.

Those 3 games are 3 of the best teams in the league for the bills vs the likely first,second, and third picks in the draft for the pats though lol. 
 

it’s probably the biggest disparity in the 3 flex games I’ve ever seen for two teams in a division race and that race is likely gonna be decided by 1-2 games. I don’t think even the up and down bills would’ve lost to one of the titans,raiders,or giants and they might go 1-2 against kc,Houston, Philly 
 

 Then on top of that they got bengals with Chase suspended and were the last team to see them without burrow which feels very fortunate

I'm thinking the situation you describe could easily happen.  NE has a complete team and Drake is getting better and more confident week by week.

That's a scenario I could see happening. The Rams are the best team in the NFL in my opinion 

 

In a year where there are no true juggernauts emerging from the AFC I could see Houston riding that dominant Defense through the playoffs to San Fran. Whenever I have watched Denver this year I just never walk away being impressed by them. Patriots are a nice story(not for us) but they are probably a year or two away from being a legit SB contender

Reading through the thoughts of the people here I see a lot of things... I agree with some don't agree with others 

 

I do think the Rams are the best coached team in the NFL.. and this is a very disparity year so I think that gives them a leg up in the NFC 

 

Talent-wise I don't think they are the best in NFL 

 

The AFC will be a mixed bag till the seedings are set... Crazy year

 

Seriously bills could go on the road and make a giants like Run if they had to... Not back on the pass rush but backed on our offensive line and controlling the line of scrimmage

As long as we have Josh under center I wouldn't count the Bills out until we here the fat lady singing and that doesn't mean my wife 🤣 

 

But given what this year has dealt too the team as far as injuries it will be 1 hell of a uphill battle to get there but I would rather have the Bills in a under dog setting rather than a favorite to be there .

 

The Bills always seem to be tougher when in the under dog mind set of the experts !!

They are not the worst number 1 seed.  They are winning the games they have on their schedule. I would agree if they were winning most of their games with last minute scores. They have been putting up points and blowing teams out.  Now if you are talking about Denver than yeah they are aren't as good as their record indicates.

According to DVOA they were the worst 10-2 team since 1978 (when they started measuring it). That is a fairly unbiased data point on who they actually are relative to record.

I don't think that's right. I saw a chart--will post it if I can find it again--that shows the Pats as one of three teams whose EPA is far lower than its win-loss record indicates it should be, compared to other teams. In other words, they're not as good as their record, much like KC last year. That doesn't mean they can't continue the good play and stupid luck (e.g., playing the Bengals without Burrow or Chase, playing the Bills after their bye), but they very well fall flat on their face. If I'm walking by, I won't avoid stepping on them, either. You live in New England, you either love or despise the Patriots.
