The Bills offense scores points on first drives incredibly well, like that is factual, they are top 5 in the league in getting points off the first drive...but don't trust the fact that they score points, its all about how it LOOKS while they do it??????? Like, seriously, you read that yourself and tell me that does not sound dumb?

 

This was not a conversation about the Bills offense as a whole, I would agree with what you said above if you apply that to the offensive philosophy, but this was a discussion about them "starting slow" and I provided facts saying otherwise, facts that indisputably contrary to your claim.

This is the softest defense we've faced in weeks.  Burrow will have to keep up. We should have some guys starting to come back on O.  We'll score points this week.

 

And let's see if the D can follow up today w/ another good/great game.  It would be encouraging to see that unit round into form at the right time.

Funny, it's sort of the opposite of Beane's preference of investing in the two lines and only throwing a few dog treats (Palmer, Coleman, Samuel, et al) to Allen for receivers. So one quarterback throws to elite receivers and ducks for his life, while the other has all the time in the world behind an elite line but no one but safeties and cornerbacks to throw to. 

 

So you think the Bengals have adequately supported Burrow?

But I fully expect the Bills to grind it out and have to to try come back when Burrow and their receivers light us up.  The Steelers QBs were terrible last week.  It ain't going to be like that this week.

Maybe the most positive thing to come out of last week's game was that Ray Davis finally broke his sophomore slump. It looks like he's been watching Cook and has a better understanding of where the openings are going to be. It was also nice seeing Ty Johnson look like last year with that 20 yard reception.

 

The Bills have needed more from their backup running backs... I'm not comfortable with an over reliance on James Cook.
