Roundybout Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago From what I can tell, even Broncos fans don't like Nix lmao Quote

You make the call: is the torch being passed in the AFC, and are we at the end of an era? Or is this a temporary blip? Ascending? Could we have one of these ascending QBs win a playoff game. Just remember how great Stroud, Tua and Herbert looked in their 1st few years. You’re comparing these 3 generational QBs to players that haven’t been exposed to extensive film study or injuries. Greatness is not achieved in one regular season. Quote
Chautauqua Mafia Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago Now comes the time when I point out that Caleb Williams is quarterbacking the #1 seed in the NFC 1 1 Quote

Generic_Bills_Fan Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Maye looks like he’s got a shot to me but bo nix and Caleb Williams I feel like people are overreacting to the teams’ overall record. Really haven’t been impressed with either of those guys Quote

This is the impact of their contracts and their teams over reliance on their talents. Quote
Lionel Hutz Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago There’s no GM in the league that would take any of those 3 over Allen, Mahomes or Jackson. 1 Quote

Can’t speak for Mahomes but Allen and Lamar don’t have a play caller of that level and Allen has an even worse Head Coach and GM who doesn’t give him the weapons he needs 1 1 Quote
PoundingDog Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson all have the ability to make plays outside of normal offensive structure. That was the new wave. But at some point, these guys are getting older and will have physical skills deterioating (gradually). So effectiveness may suffer unless they evolve. I see it in Mahomes, and I see it in Allen - some odf his sacks or push throws last seconds would be big plays 2, 3 years ago (yes even the sack he had today against the Steelers). Jackson is already hurting every year. Burrow is more a traditional QB that could play for a long time. But he has injury issue all his career. For Bills sake, I hope to see Allen having a better Roethlisberger career. That means he needs to constinue to work on his mechanics every year. He can go Manning's route if he decides to bury himself in everything football his life for awhile but I don't see it coming. Quote

They’re a paper tiger, just like the Colts were. Quote

zow2 Posted 37 minutes ago Posted 37 minutes ago Nix is pretty good. He throws it around sometimes recklessly but there's high reward on those throws. I'd much rather have Bo Nix than say CJ Stroud or several other QBs. Quote
