Although McDermott probably wouldn't have cared for the many times Schobel would have inevitably told him to ***** off. Schobel was one of my favorite Bills. he did his job - i can't believe he did not take 1 more year to get 10 years and that vested pension. maybe it was different back then. the more i think about it i do not like our defense. game after game i get tired of it. i want to see a complete revamp Quote
4th&long Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago I wish the bills were serious about winning. What a joke this franchise has become. Quote
frostbitmic Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago What's Jerry Hughes up to these days ... Sorry couldn't help myself. Something just seems off at OBD. Quote
May Day 10 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago why are they insistent on playing all the hits and bringing these people back? There has got to be younger, better, and faster players on practice squads that they could sign and put on the roster. Is it a comfort thing with McDermott? Lawson has asked to play in 1 NFL game in the past 2 years. Quote

One of the angriest stretches I've ever had in this forum was when this fanbase started incessantly crapping down his neck when he suffered his first serious injury after having played so many years of ProBowl quality football for this team. One of my happiest stretches was when he came back and instantly, and I mean instantly, started just wrecking offenses. That was one of only two times I've ever gone into full "I told you ashholes!" mode around here. Quote

That was one of only two times I've ever gone into full "I told you ashholes!" mode. it was ridiculous. i was also very annoyed with the chris kelsey hate. people HATED him for not getting pinned ears back rush the passer sacks. the dude won't make you write home to your momma at 1 sack every 4.5 games (147 games - 32.5 sacks over 11 years). his 2 solo tackles a game don't make you think much of his performance. but the guy was absolutely a wall to funnel the carrier to the inside where our linebackers were supposed to clean up - and often did with guys like London Fletcher, Takeo Spikes, and more. that defense at the time was archaic by the contemporary design of that era and would be 100% a fossil in todays league. it'd be unmanageable due to the limited quality of linebackers in todays league, sadly. 1 Quote

There really hasn't been anyone as good in the league this team as good minus Myles Garrett. Though Schobel never had a Kelly or Thurman to assist him on the other side. Otherwise we would have never had the playoff drought. Quote
Success Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago A bit too much negativity here. For starters, this is a depth move. Because we have had more than our fair share of injuries on the defensive side. While it would be nice to sign a pro-bowler, there aren't too many of those floating around at this time of year. And we have no idea what we'll get out of Lawson, if he ends up playing. He's 31, which isn't exactly over the hill at his position. But we need players. Too many guys have been hurt. 1 Quote

ColoradoBills Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago I don't see Shaq Lawson being signed to the PS as a crisis. There are plenty of bigger things to worry about. Quote
