Big Turk Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Even they know the NFL is better with Allen in it Quote
Since1981 Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Hunter appropriate name. huge kudos to him. Really, when you think of dudes like Wilkerson. It’s nice to see some humanity in a brutal job. 1 Quote

You're probably missing a few more names, but that's a good starting list. Those are somewhat recent, let alone old school boys. 1 Quote
Kornfed Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Hard to believe somebody could let up split second, at that speed, in the heat of the game. I think we/Josh just got very lucky. Quote
Process Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I think people are getting a little carried away with this. Props for not being dirty and intentionally hurting him I guess. But I don't think we need to praise the guy when we have no idea what his intent was or how purposeful the let up was. But I get it- we are all desperate for anything positive right now. Quote
Walking Tall Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Makes me want Beane fired all the more. Way too many hits holding the ball waiting for a crappy receiver to get open. Edited 3 hours ago by Walking Tall 1 Quote
Andy1 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I also noticed that during the game. Houston beat the crap out of us, but they weren’t dirty plays. I have total respect for that team. McDermott and Brady are who needs to see this. That offensive scheme was stupid under those conditions. 1 Quote

I guess it's one of a few positives we can take from the other night heck it could’ve made next season unpleasant Quote

He could’ve taken us out. Cant say the same about Trey Hendrickson. Quote

Special K Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Back when Brady was in his prime, I always felt there was a "Do not Injure" directive from the league after the Bernard Pollard hit that caused a season ending injury. If there really is a "Do not Injure" directive from the league, Josh Allen would certainly be one of the players on that list. Quote

So while it’s a nice feel good story to think this Texans player took it easy on our guy, it’s more likely he was using his brain and didn’t want to get flagged. Under NFL rules (Rule 12, Section 2), a rushing defender is not allowed to forcibly hit the passer in the knee area or below when the quarterback has one or both feet on the ground. Quote

I'm old enough to remember Bruce Smith letting up a few times on Joe Montana when he played for KC in the playoffs. Joe was taking a beating that game. Quote
