That is pretty well said! You can see a bit of all those guys. Just nuts we get to watch this.

I never take one game for granted !

We are witnessing something really special... I literally had to throw in a Hall of Fame full back to round out his play style because he is otherworldly

I appreciated the Scrambling Fran as well. You don't tend to think that right away because of the size difference and physical style, but he has that pure playmaking and sense of surrounding.

Fran was a wizard!

That's one of the first things that always came to my mind with Josh.. not the size

Just how they have a beautiful chaos about their game when it all breaks down

It’s one thing if the Bills spent all this money on WRs like Chase and Tee Higgins.  Then you can understand the defense kinda sucking. But we don’t have elite WRs or a solid defense. What are they spending money on to help Allen?

and our inept GM still can't give him enough help on both sides of the ball to win a championship. It's maddening.

Yeah and the coach isn't at all concerned about giving Josh weapons. If he was, Josh would have better wrs.

In offensive line that has kept Allen alive for four straight years

A perennial pro bowl left tackle, a future perennial pro bowl right tackle.. Khalil has a 53 million contract and James Cook has a 46 million contract

Gregg got 80 million... Benford got 70 million..  Oliver got 70 million.. Bernard got 45 million

I'm there too. When at or near his best, no one comes close.  Last year he was damn near perfect until the start of the playoff loss (but he righted himself after a couple of series). However, he still occasionally regresses and struggles with consistency.

sometimes regresses from perfect….

Technically it's greatest players not most talented

If it was you could throw guys like Michael Vick up there

Those guys (megatron/moss) are definitely better athletes than Jerry Rice and super talented.. Jerry Rice is the best football player I've ever seen

He made everything look easy and is arguably the greatest route runner of all time.. holds the most NFL records all time..

Most touchdowns from scrimmage all time, most yards from scrimmage all time

He would be my pick as number one greatest player ever

^This.  And Rice holds those records by a wide margin, it isn’t even close.  And did it an era when passing wasn’t nearly as prolific as the past 20 years.

Greatest talent & Greatest QB are two different things.

Brett Favre is way more talented than Tom Brady. When it comes to the position as a whole, Brady is a few tiers above him.

I think first ballad Hall of famers are closer than people will give credit

Brett favre with Bill belichick and his defenses for 20 years probably has a good amount of Super bowls too

Green Bay is an organization that has hit on quarterbacks for 35 years and has two Super bowls to show on it.. they struggle with putting a team around the Superstar consistently

Josh Allen is the Randy Moss of QBs. Hands down the most physically talented of all time at his position and has the numbers to back it up. Teams have to account for him on every single play. He just lacks the hardware. Like Moss, Allen also never had much help. He’s a one man show.

Allen does more with less than ANYONE in the league.  And it's literally been almost every year.  He epitomizes what it means to be the MVP imo.

I don't see how people who claim Mahomes and Burrow are better can never acknowledge the yawning chasm between the receivers those two have thrown to all their career and those that Allen has had to work with. Yes, he had Diggs (who routinely disappeared in the playoffs), but that is it.

I'm curious how you think anyone past DK Metcalf ranks higher than our guys.

Mahomes hasn't had great wide receivers the last couple years besides Kelce their tight end

But he has a healthy defense come play off time and the best play caller of the last 25 years

And he still averaged 22 points per game in the regular season the last 2 years... Josh is actually still improving Patrick is pretty stagnant

I find it hard to judge QB's based on skills to actual results.

Generally speaking, Brett Favre is known for making boneheaded mistakes at critical times. He cost his teams more playoff games than anyone else. But he was super talented.

I don't know where to place him in a top ten list. How does one evaluates his talent vs actual performance?
