TheFunPolice Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago imagine 6 TD Allen who also hits nearly every throw in a game. That's basically 13 seconds game Allen. I want KC here in the playoffs when it happens and we win 45-28 and the place is going nuts for the entire 4th quarter. Quote

Buffalo716 Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago A six touchdown game and Josh still did leave some on the table You will never hear that out of a six touchdown game in the NFL.... Josh says hold my beer.. we might see a 7-8 TD game one day 1 Quote

Regarding the recent and fairly unprecedented criticism of Josh after the Miami game, we all love him but also we've all seen him play better than he has this year. The best is yet to come... My take: Josh didn’t play well, actually, but he did play great. If that makes any sense! 1 3 Quote

Complimentary football gives you a much better chance to win. Case in point the 1990s Bills teams, we had Thurman and Jim as key cogs on the offense and we routinely beat Marino and Dolphins. Why? In part because the Dolphins let Marino be Marino and never give him a RB of Thurman's status to compliment him. yeah well our Defense sucks so… Quote

Nobody plays perfect football. Sure, limit the turnovers. That doesn't mean go into small ball snail mode. More possessions = more opportunities to score = more room for error. When you are a flawed football team and you limit your own possessions then you are just giving yourself less room for error and more need to play mistake free football. Defenses love teams that try 10-15 play 7-10 min drives because it gives them more opportunity to create a mistake for the offense they face. This is the backbone of McD's defense... keep plays in front of you and make them grind out drives so you can get them to make a mistake. Its a mistake to do that to ourselves. I think there were game plan adjustments, such as RB passes and down field throws. Remember that Josh hasn’t really had a downfield passing attack since Brady became OC. I think Houston is in for a surprisingly hard game despite their good defense. I think Brady, Josh and McD have finally decided to unleash the offense with the returns of Davis and Palmer and we’ll be the better for it. I think a lot of it is was: No Kincaid. Almost an entire “new” WR group/combo Palmer hasn’t played a full game since New England. Shavers increased role. Hardman. Welcome back Gabe. No Keon. A TE I never heard of. Find a QB that gets handed THAT and does what Josh did. 1 Quote

Clock bleeds, possessions limited and Josh/passing game never gets in a rhythm. That was the Giants' gameplan in our first SB loss. Quote

This has been a more consistent issue of late and that's often because of preparation. Is he unprepared because of him or are the people in charge of getting him prepared doing a poor job of preparing him? I don't know the answer to that question. I do know they and he looked really good against Kansas City in ways that they and he often haven't looked against other, often lesser, competition. 7 minutes ago, Old Coot said: That was the Giants' gameplan in our first SB loss. So they were vunerable to our running game. Quote

Throwing to the RB seems to have been installed against the fish and it carried over in this game. Kate they finally also started opening running lanes for Cook and Josh. I hope they utilize this same game plan against a tough Hou defense. Make it impossible for their DC to take anything away. If they stack the box, throw over them. If they cover deep hit them with RB and Josh runs. If they blitz hit the RB out of backfield or Shakir in the space the blitzes vacated. This is the way everyone truly eats. Quote
