Kaenon Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Shout out to the refs overall yesterday for letting the players play. In a game that featured 9 lead changes and some very momentum-shifting plays, the refs didn't have a factor. We'll take it. It was dissected pretty well on the telecast and all thought it was a good call. Edited 2 hours ago by Ned Flanders 1 2 Quote
co_springs_billsfan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I will say the line judge coming in from the top of the screen seemed to be marking the ball a half yard to a yard short often. He was doing it for both teams though. 6 Quote

Not necessarily a bad call, but we had to look at it closely, in slow motion, to detect a facemask. Could very easily have been ignored. 1 1 Quote
Process Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago They directly handed the bucs 3 points with a phantom call on a FG block 5 2 1 Quote

No. Its hard to sound authentic when clearly biased, but his fingers got up under the lip of the helmet, and caused a reaction exactly the same as a face mask. At first i thought it was a bad call, but i think it was actually a super high level call.... especially once that "rule specialist" guy came on... that dudes a shill for NFL, but he said their is a provision for it in rulebook, I doubt he waws making that up... either way good call and id say the same if it was on us 4 minutes ago, Process said: They directly handed the bucs 3 points with a phantom call on a FG block Yeah that one was rough. Lineman call that a "*****", its advanced lineman play, but basically, you catch a player over extending/reaching and you redirect his momentum and drive him down. Dion has been a beast with it, but he got flagged on it twice last year.... which is rough as hell, considering thats basically highlight reel lineman stuff 1 Quote

I thought the call should actually be (twisting the players Head with leverage ) That stuff is dangerous , and watching the replays so many times . Completely egregious and unnecessary 1 Quote

Fleezoid Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I will never, ever, ever, ever give a shout out, or kudos to referees no matter how accurate the game was called. There's not enough years left to make up for all of the egregious mistakes and garbage we've witnessed over the years. 1 Quote

Not disagreeing it was a horrific call that sealed the game. However, having watched 25 years of the Brady and calls, I make zero apologies. Quote
