I had concerns with his play early in the game, especially coming off the loss from last week but he did play great. The shuffle at reciever did seem to help.

I had concerns to.  Hell, I have Jekyll/Hyde mood swings about 10 times in games like this.

As an aside after the Bills game we all watched the Chiefs/Boncos & Ravens/Browns games.  Of curse we weren't obsessing over every throw by those QB's like we do with Allen's thorws.  But we all noticed how poorly Jackson, Mahomes & Nix played at times.  That's the norm in most NFL games even for great QB performances.  We also all agreed tat Cleveland did not have NFL QB's on the field.

Yikes

Watched them hash it out on the sideline (maybe after the next drive?)...which was mostly Dion up in Edwards' face and Edwards at first pushing a palm into Dion's shoulder to keep distance, repeatedly at first until Spencer Brown or someone else seemingly convincing Edwards to drop the hand and just let Dion vent it out. Was not nothing.

I didn't hear anything bad and definitely didn't hear anything "thug" ish. Let's just retire that word. He wasn't groveling for media or fan forgiveness, for sure, but he was trying to give matter of fact answers that didn't deny his culpability.

Geez, leading Bills receiver Tyrell Shavers 4 receptions for 90 yards, 1 TD.  Cook was second with 3 for 66 yards.

The more correct and honest observation is that Allen was uneven early and then went full beats mode.  Some people throw around "awful" way to easily in describing Allen's play.

I've stopped paying attention to those folks who tie everything to QB play.  To me it means that's all they understand about football. Having said that, Josh made a few throws that were unbelievably bad....And, some plays that were awesome! You can be both good and bad.

not for me

i don't see the sustainability issue tbh

i worry allen takes MORE damage when we're trying to be conservative on offense. focusing too tightly on TOP, turnovers, avoiding negative plays etc makes them play tight and slow. you need to lean into letting allen loose, w a better offensive staff and personnel, and suddenly he's the twitchy throw-from-any-platform running through linebackers never miss a start freak that can win basically any game for you

This is 100% how I feel. Allen and the offense really feed off those big plays. Without them, it seems like Allen is dying a slow death.

Yeah there’s no doubt. It should instantly be

45 for 8

42 for 58

39 for 7

31 for 27

That's a lot, although it's not crazy at all. But why not also include 37 for 21 while you're at it?

Nobody should be held accountable for things they post in the game thread. I made some stupid comments about Josh today, but I was responding in the moment. I think those threads should be locked and hidden after the game is over.

And I think they should be recorded for posterity

Good plan after Bernard just played the best game he's played this year <_<

He seems to be playing with a flat tire. Whatever injury he's been dealing with is obviously still there. Rewatch him trying to stop Baker on a few of the scrambles. He was in a perfect position, but couldn't catch up to Baker. Shaq needs to be in there when healthy.

I'm getting sick of josh going WIN ON THREE 123 BLUGHLUFGGG.  I want him to say something else than that. And I'd also like to know what the speech is like after a loss never see those

Well, I do have the Josh Allen draft thread bookmarked, so who am I to talk.

Oh, he's certainly got a bad wheel.

I was referring more to his reads, decisiveness and overall impact.

His turnovers were always overrated as he always more than made up for them.

Its like.. Do we want 300 plus yards and 3-6 TDs with a couple turnovers. Or 150 yards with 1 TD and no interceptions?

Its an easy answer for me and I hope Joe Brady finally lets the leash off for good

If you want to talk about why you think Bernard should be benched, go for it. But keep your personal garbage out of here.

As soon as Shaq is back, Bernard needs to sit and get healthy. I have to imagine he's playing hurt, with as slow as he looked.

Bills fans are at least 90% behind this philosophical approach to playing NFL football with Josh Allen at QB.
