Why do we always doubt sources? FWIW, it’s not that complicated. There are LOTS of people that have that information. Why is it so hard for some to believe, in a city this size, that people would have that info? 🤣🤣

I promise, in 2025, it’s not that uncommon for people to have sources. This holds especially true for a business that’s entire job is to cover the Bills. 🤣🤣 Let’s stop with the question the messenger nonsense. If they didn’t know it to be true they wouldn’t put it out there. It would damage their credibility and ultimately, their money. They aren’t going to do that.

Bullllloney.  If this were all true, there would be betting scandals.

If Beane whiffed this bad on Elam and Coleman, he needs to be shown the door too. That's a long track record if you throw in Cody Ford, Boogie, etc.

He stays.  You know why?  He didn't whiff on Josh Allen and many others.  He pulled this team out of the bottom of the abyss.  17 seasons no post season before he got here.

I will say this about Beane. He better hope that the coaching staff and players he brought in figure it. Otherwise, I got news for you, McDermott is not taking the fall for Beane. Beane will be gone after the season, the trading deadline may have been the final straw.

If you go back through 6 Drafts (to get to the Ford miss) and compile all picks in Round 1 and Round 2 (generally at least 12 picks), you're likely to find 4 misses between the two rounds on most teams.

No one goes perfect in the Draft.  Especially when you take into account where we select. I mean, just look at all the guys who were taken in Round 2 from other teams that we end up bringing to Camp or signing to the Practice Squad in recent years.

The biggest issue with Beane has been pro personnel.   That's been catastrophic.   Bad evaluating, bad players signed, gross over-pays.......it's ruined their cap and put enormous pressure on the draft process.

The Beane Bills are pretty decent at drafting.  To the point where you can see where they might be excellent if not reaching for needs created by awful pro personnel work.

You gotta' take shots at premium positions early and first round picks around the league are pretty much 50/50 as to whether they are worth the option........let alone extending.

Do you REALLY think Pegula is going to fire Beane at the end of the season?  LOL

I have no issues if Coleman just can’t cut it. But to hear he has an effort problem is disappointing.

To hear? Have you watched him? Its so bad

I don’t even want to see Keon play again. Period. Imagine all the times Josh looked his way, couldn’t trust a throw because he was covered, had no time to go through progressions and took a sack or a no yardage play.

honestly, that may be part of the Josh issue.

he’s playing much more like he did when Gabe was his wr1 and I didn’t think Gabe was very qb friendly either.

unfortunately that seems to be our plan b too

Wow , that’s quite the indictment on Coleman   And BEANE for allowing this to happen after watching him at camp   No way all that praise was true , they were reticent to admit the problem and issues with him   Marketing 101 , make your biggest weakness appear to be a strength and keep him on the field 70% of snaps   Also , if true , kind of an indictment on Josh for not stepping up as a leading qb and demanding better from the guy   I’m starting to lean toward the opinion if Josh is going to be quiet about guys being lackluster in effort or not helping the offense , then you-reap what you sew   Step up out of your comfort as this team is struggling and be more of a vocal leader  it’s not about being the buddy , it’s being a captain and leader

Kelly didn’t have Josh’s talent but he lead that team undoubtedly and wasn’t afraid to challenge g guys   Let’s see how tomorrow goes , but if Coleman is a healthy scratch to a guy like Davis , who is no great talent , it’s really hard to see Coleman rebound   I don’t think he has the mental toughness yet , maybe never

When Dawkins told us Keon was going to shock the league this year and turn heads this is not what I thought he had in mind

The guy who heads up CBS sports fantasy football also touted Keon as the breakout WR of the year.  He had everyone on board lol.  So terribly wrong.

Questioning and validating sources is a good practice and something, frankly, people in our country need to do more of. Without getting political, I don’t see anything wrong with wondering how valid a reported source is for something that has been widely speculated.

I am asking honestly, not trying to sully a name. C1 is generally not thought of as a proactive media outlet. They’re more of a responsive unit.

And would it really knock their credibility if they were wrong? I can name a ton of millionaire media reporters, internet gurus, film junkies etc who have been wrong before yet people still post them like they’re gospel.

We have a habit of questioning the messenger when we don’t like the message. Cover 1’s entire business is built upon gaining credibility with Bills fans so that they subscribe. Do you think those guys would throw out BS info if they weren’t sure? Lol, that literally would take money out of their bank account. That’s not how it works.

Info gets shared all of the time that goes far and wide. There are a whole bunch of people on this message board that hear things before it ever comes out. It’s not really that rare or uncommon.

If that's true...and I don't really doubt that it is...damn,  what a colossal F up by Beane.  Not just missing on the pick,  but not hedging his bets in the draft this year after Coleman's play in the 2nd half of the year.

I dont know them.

Also, sources are wrong at the time including those who are being relied upon for the ppl that post stuff here.
