How do you figure?

They complement each others abilities very well with putting different wrinkles in what the defense needs to watch for. Add in shakir and the balance is great. It would just matter on game plan and play calling at that point. Watch early in season when both on field together.

Great, our problems are now over.

No need to draft any more of those freaking WRs

Let's go CB and LB.

Bitching about WRs is one of the dumbest arguments. 😂

Scratch or not it's looking like his time is winding down in Buffalo. It really feels like he is a trade candidate in the off-season. Would be good for the Bills to get even a late pick swap for him at this point and it may be just what he needs too.

Maybe we can get a kickoff tee for him.

You're probably right. Just hoping it's more him adjusting to the pros than not being good.

But you're probably correct. Sucks...

Bernard Ford all over again

It was a terrible pick. We all saw it and knew it in real time.

According to sources I'll believe it when I see it.

Why would you doubt that? They elevated Gabe and signed Hardman to the active roster. They criticized his effort all week. Lol, why would this be shocking??

This could be a straight up punitive thing but it has the whiff of something deeper. like, this staff doesn’t know how to use talent, especially on offense.

they jam the guy in at wr 1, something he’s not suited for, and he, predictably, underperforms.

Is this McDermott sticking it to beane or Brady scapegoating Coleman? Or is it as simple as Coleman stinks or is a cancer?

It’s days of our lives at one bills drive.

100% expected this. Gabe isn’t anything special, but if he’s healthy, given his familiarity with Josh, it makes sense. There is nothing Keon does better than Gabe, and 17 needs somebody he feels he can trust out there.

Between this and the Elam pick, somebody needs to be held accountable. Because if you’re going to whiff this freaking bad, while also not hitting a single 1st round pick not named Josh Allen out of the park in almost a decade now, you might as well be trading those picks for proven players like Jaylen Waddle, George Pickens or Micah Parsons.

“But the cap”… then manage it better? Maybe don’t overpay to “resign our own” when you can’t draft worth half a 💩 in the first place.

He’s not very good and the rewatch was devastating for him. The effort was appalling and everyone saw it. They can send a message to the team and a young player. If he was good, they’d overlook it. This isn’t some conspiracy or scapegoating or anything of the sort. It’s a bad player, on a bad group, that’s struggling, getting benched. They’re going to try two different guys tomorrow and get Palmer back. They’re throwing things at the wall and seeing what sticks. With the exception of Shakir, none of those guys should be guaranteed a jersey. Palmer is the best of the bunch and he’s a role player.

The fact that the combination of Gabe Davis active, Hardman signed to the active roster, and Coleman may be inactive gave me a twinge of hope makes me want to slap Brandon Beane in the back of the head...

Cover1 has had many film room sessions with Bills players.  They have sources.  Funny that Greg reacts to a Tweet by Eric (I assume.)

Rousseau and Oliver and Kincaid along with Hairston look like excellent picks

I'm critical of Beane a little bit come on....

Rousseau at the end of rd1 is a FRICKIN home run.

This board dramatically underrates Rousseau because he's not a sack monster, ignoring that expected sack monsters don't make it out of the first 15 picks.  Dude is a beast against the run and does all the dirty work while being an adequate sack guy.  He's an extremely solid pick for his draft slot.

I’m actually pretty surprised that Beane/McD are responding to the poor play and pressure from the media/fans.    It’s really more their style to insist that they are right and don’t believe your lyin’ eyes

If I was picking, every first rounder would be a HOFer. I can design a better offense and defense too.  I’m good at multitasking.

Okay, he stinks, but that has to be an indictment on management. Either they completely whiffed on drafting or the staff is incapable of managing him properly. One would think a benefit of the process would be ability to handle these things at a player level.
