Frankly, if Gabe is ready, I hope he is inactive. Just for the fact that he has displayed immaturity,  selfishness, and loafing. That ALONE should put him on the bench.

What?  Never recall Davis as immature or selfish?  Or lazy by that?

Where are you getting that from?

Big game…a gotta have it game for the young man.

What does Keon do for this one?

I’ll go to bat for him one more time and say 9 grabs, 97 yards and 2 TD’s.

Keon…were lookin’ right at you bud.  Show up

Love the optimism but I don't that is very realistic the way we use him.

A more realistic optimistic stat line might be more like 5 rec, 77 yards, and a TD.

My expectation - 3 rec, 48 yards, 0 TDs.

I think this is going to be a big Cook game.  Down Palmer and Kincaid, I have a hard time seeing Brady looking to dial up the passing game unfortunately.  A guy I do like streaming this week in DFS is Shakir though.  I think Shakir ends up with like 7-8 catches, 80-100 yards and a TD.

I have never seen this fanbase turn on a player like this. Ever. This level of vitriol is usually reserved in Buffalo for tall defensemen who don't like to hit.

eh we certainly have before.  in this case it's less about Coleman himself, and more about the abject failure of Beane on the WR front, and Keon being the poor moron token WR that Beane clearly had to take but did it through gritted teeth because there were so many oft injured tweener DL that he could have taken instead

3 for 48 implies 16 yards a catch, an implication i cannot realistically broker

Shhhhhhh we have to go from the narrative that Keon is slow and can't separate because there's no way our GOAT QB can have an off day. We need a scape goat and the majority have chosen to make Keon just that.

So true!!

Josh can NEVER be blamed. Ever.

From Joe Marino after reviewing the film of the passing game:

"Unfortunately, the two uncatchable passes that I charted in this game were both on deep balls to Coleman on reps that Coleman actually had separation. On the first instance, Coleman had his man stacked vertically with inside leverage, but Allen threw the ball out of bounds to Coleman’s outside shoulder. The other was severely underthrown, and the defensive back swatted it away while Coleman had to turn around for it despite having vertical leverage."

This was in line with what we saw live. But then again, Keon is the whipping boy of TBD, so carry on with making him seem ridiculously useless, instead of what he is, a struggling and so far under-performing young player that gets utilized oddly.

The ball that was out of bounds was only slightly out of bounds and possibly catchable.

More importantly on that rep Coleman didn’t track the ball, stopped running (causing the DB to run into him) and then started to run again when he found the ball in the air but couldn’t catch up to it.

With Mike Evans or a similar good WR1 that is probably a completion or near-completion with the receiver not getting 2 feet in bounds. It’s a perfect example of how Coleman doesn’t look like a natural WR at all.

And the other play was a slight underthrow, which Coleman failed to make the contested catch. And even after that the ball popped up and Coleman had 2 hands on it and dropped it.

I mean his career average is almost 15 ypc, so not sure why its not that realistic.  And TB isn't a great Secondary, so he can easily get a 20+ yard catch in this game.  With both Kincaid and Palmer out, I think he gets a little more deeper looks than some of the short stuff they throw him on check downs this game.

it's repulsive because what else follows:

Samuel: 12 snaps, 2 targets, 1 catch, 27 yards*

Moore: 6 snaps, 1 target, 1 catch, 8 yards

Shavers: 4 snaps, 2 targets, 1 catch, 19 yards

12 snaps: 4 passing plays, 8 runs

Yeah shavers out snapping those guys seems wrong along with keon.  I love the running game but I don’t need the bills to lead the league in rush play percentage.

Um...how about from his...COACH.  He has been disciplined at least once this season,  and he basically said he was not satisfied with his effort after last week's game. All 22 shows SEVERAL plays where he is basically loafing. Those are all signs of emotional immaturity and obviously selfish when you are part of a team.
