The new giants head coach is gonna make Daboll look like an absolute clown I think haha I honestly think that roster is pretty good and he was absolutely dragging them down a ton..  it’s so interesting hearing how he’s talked about now on here I think he’s an absolutely godawful coach as someone watching a criminal amount of giants games 😂. Don’t think Brady is any good either but swapping Brady for Daboll is like going from sh*t to sh*t lol

Yea, I too watched way too many Giants games over the last few years. With former Bills employees running the show and the many ex Bills they brought in it was a natural watch for me. 

 

It's amazing how poorly he did with Daniel Jones's "development". Even their playoff year he had something like 14 TD passes. 

 

It's even more amazing that people forget just how frustrating he was as an OC while he was here. I'm far from a Brady fan, but going back to Daboll would be a horrible move.

Daboll and Brady are polar opposites. One created an amazing passing game here for a couple years but no good run game to complement it. The other created an amazing run game here but not a good passing game to complement it. Neither know how to really mix up the playcalling over the course of the game. Merging the two would be like the creation of the atom bomb.

I'm just saying he was a HC with the Giants and he didn't have much talent around his QBs then. To assume he'd want different in Buffalo is up for debate.

I can't give Brady credit for the running game. To me, that's all Kromer. He's the difference maker their and our most valuable coach.

Daboll would be a good get as OC if he isn't hired by a power 5 college team looking for a HC, and if Josh is lobbying for him to be brought back.

 

But, I think there will be better options on the market if Brady is a)let go (long shot) or 2)takes a HC job (either pro or college).

 

My first choice would be someone who needs an image upgrade after failing out as an HC, ie. McDaniel, when he is fired by Miami.
