Drake Maye is a good one and who would have thought after how this decade began that the Patriots are probably going to be back in a Super Bowl before the Bills again. The Patriots are showing how to build around a franchise QB, as opposed to what Buffalo did… 1 1 2 Quote
Pete Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We will get a much higher draft pick. There are 6-7 possible WRs drafted in the first round. Bills should be able to land a good WR Quote

Since then their "big move" has been trading down twice and then taking Coleman at the top of the 2nd. Oh well. I've made my peace that a championship isn't happening this year. My only fear is that Pegula won't do what's necessary. The original post was that they've never used a 1st on a WR. They have. Yes it was 5 years ago, but once they had him they had a pretty decent wideout core. The last two years have been horrendous but in that time they did use another high pick on a wideout. He isnt any good. The point is them not spending resources on wideouts because Beane and McDermott dont value the position isnt true. 4 1 Quote

But the bad contracts and late/missed draft picks have caught up to us. I personally think believing that Josh was ssooo good that we could plug anyone in at reciever and we could make it work was the biggest mistake. Josh is that good, that said when he isn't perfect every play, this is what you get coupled with horrible defense Quote
DaVinci Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Im listening to Josh press conference and my heart is breaking , this regime really screwed him over. 4 Quote

BananaB Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’ve been saying for few years the Bills are treading water, now it looks like they are sinking. Feel bad for Allen, dude takes a pay cut and these are the WRs they get him. 1 Quote

Pretty clear that this team has serious limitations in its current form. Even our wins vs Dolphins and Saints earlier in the season showed a lot of issues. I would say since week one we knew that this defense will be a HUGE issue AGAIN !!! Quote

North Buffalo Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Crap game... crap week Sabres with 2 loses... family issues... gonna pull the cover over my head and take a nap and reset... oof Quote
oldmanfan Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It is not over, but they stunk today. There was not one good unit out there today. The O line had a worse outing that they did against Atlanta. The WRs were poor, TEs marginal, Josh did some questionable things. The D line showed the effects of so many injuries, because the D line sucked the LBs were bad, and outside of Hairston getting a couple picks the DBs were meh. Coaching was bad especially Brady. So an overall terrible effort. Does that mean it’s all done? No. We’ll get some guys back and if we make the playoffs, then anything can happen. But if we lose Kincaid for an appreciable time it will be tough, Does it mean you toss everything in the shredder? No. It does mean guys like Milano, Tre, Poyer, and others will not be around. It may mean we look at the OC and DC, and yes HC, for changes. But you have Josh. Cook. Kincaid. Young guys ready to step up on D. This is one game. One stinker of a game. But one game. Quote
Aussie Joe Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago It’s never as bad as you think it is ( this week) or as good as you think it is ( last week) … I think it’s unlikely this team is lifting the trophy though .. but I’ve thought that since before the season started .. 1 Quote

Where have you been last week when we beat the Chiefs? Maybe you're write on this poster, I dunno, I don't recognize the name. There certainly are posters around here fitting what you describe.... but im not one. Always been glass half full guy. NE pissed me off. Atl almost broke me, but I chalked it up to mid season slump and forgave... today was the last straw of 8 years. I am out on McD, and even out on Beane (something i havent said before). Fire them both. Let the season finish out however it will from there. Make it apparent to any HC/Coordinators that a top job is open. We probably drop an extra game or 2. Could miss playoffs as a result. Were ABSOLUTELY not getting out of 2nd rd this year. The hurt this year, just helps us get higher up in draft. Great way to jump start the rebuild 1 Quote
