atlbillsfan1975 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Unfortunate the biggest sellers were in our division. That said, Williams on this team would have been our Jones for KC. Edited 3 hours ago by atlbillsfan1975 4 Quote
eball Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago No he wasn’t! He’s more interested in trashing WGR hosts and refusing to address the team’s weaknesses! That’s what I read hear all the time. 4 1 6 Quote
James Can Cook Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Jokes on them we are taking the division regardless of those potential trades. 1 1 1 Quote
Miyagi-Do Karate Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I have a feeling the jets would have dealt Williams to us, but I doubt we were offering what the cowboys gave them. I think the dolphins weren’t going to trade with us at all. 4 3 Quote
Kirby Jackson Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Not faulting Beane for this deadline. They were active. It takes 2 to tango. 3 2 Quote
MPL Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Word is he offered a 1st and 3rd for Waddle. Some rumors out there that 1st round pick was a 2027 pick and Miami wanted a 2026 pick. 1 Quote
EmotionallyUnstable Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago No surprise in Waddle but the Williams news is interesting. I wonder how he foresaw any trade looking in acquiring ANOTHER DT, albeit one that is a premier player, just a year after drafting two of them. Who would they have moved? Quote
BuffaloBillyG Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago If I'm Waddle I'm ticked. Man, had a chance to punch my ticket to go play with a winning club and got held here instead. Could have played with Josh Allen, but no, stuck with Tua. 2 minutes ago, MPL said: Word is he offered a 1st and 3rd for Waddle. Honestly, I like Waddle but a first and third for a guy that is injured a lot would have been a bit much IMO. 2 2 Quote

The WR issue is a mess of his own making, and having it still be an issue and trying to address it at the last minute IS his fault. 2 4 1 2 1 Quote

I doubt they would have traded with us, but if that was the only hold up you give them a 2026 1st rounder. 3 1 Quote

Especially with how loaded the 2027 class is looking at WR and what an immediate impact waddle would’ve been. Beane could’ve worked his magic and said fine a first in 2026 and that’s it. I mean they’re taking on his contract for the next 3 years too. He’s only cheap this year. Quote

The puzzling thing for me is that if Beane was willing to pay a third and future first, that's an acknowledgement that we are lacking at the position. But his back up plan was ...Waddle or nothing? Just seems weird he would be willing to invest that much and not have a pivot plan. 2 Quote
mannc Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I’m pretty confident that Rashid Shaheed and Adonai Mitchell were available at the trade deadline, and neither was in the AFCE… 2 Quote

I blame him for the WR room but not this trade deadline. He backed himself into a corner and couldn’t get out. 2 Quote

The Bills were looking for a #1 not a #3. 1 1 Quote
