And you plan on fitting his massive cap hit where?

Do people even understand that this isn't Madden and the Salary Cap is a real things especially during the season?

You’re saying we can’t squeeze in his $100 million contract? Who knew?!

His cap hit for a team trading for him in 2025 would be like $8-9M.

Getting Simmons is as far fetched as getting Waddle.

I'd rather have Waddle!

Bill Polian worked a trade with the Colts through the Rams to get Biscuit...stranger things.

just have the Titans eat his salary!

Maybe they can send us a draft pick or two for taking him off their hands.

If you think you have a great proposed trade thread, sit on that idea for a day, then throw the idea out.

The Titans have already stated they aren’t trading him. Mute point

One of the most elegant malapropisms I've seen. Love the inference that we should all just shut up on the topic.

hey I was only half- joking… we always seem to be on the wrong end of the “who pays this player’s salary after he’s traded” discussion… so why not be on the right side of it for once

Oh no, I wasn’t picking on you at all!  It’s the whole concept of teams giving us their best players because some Bills fans have heard of them. I like to keep at least one foot firmly entrenched in reality.

- Name best player at his position

- Ignore his current contract

- Ignore that there’s no chance his team trades him

- “We gotta get this guy”

Repeat!

This guy is one of the best DT, of not the best, in the league. He just turned 28 years old in July. DT's can play at a high level well into their 30s (Chris Jones is 3 yrs older - 31)

He's what Brandon Beane has been after for years. You're lucky if you ever find a guy like him in the draft.

Call the Titans: offer them TJ Sanders a 1st and a 4th.  Would the Titans take the offer? Probably not.  Do you go 1st and 3rd plus Sanders? I'm not sure, that's a lot.  Then again Simmons is a beast and is everything this team needs in the middle.

Get it done Brandon. I think he tips the scales in a big way. Take advantage of the Titans being a mess right now. Chances are slim it can be pulled off, but if the offer is heavy enough it's not entirely impossible.

C'mon Beane we've got 41 hours. Work those phones

- We had our chance to draft him we passed on him and took Oliver instead

- Titans have said he’s untouchable

- His cap hit is massive

Id love him but it’s not happening. However T Sweat my boy pre draft is available. Perfect run stuffer

A dream surprise trade for me would be Dexter Lawrence.

reading the tea leaves in the New York media he wants out and is frustrated with the DC and all the losing.  Some fans were saying he wanted no part of the game yesterday and put little effort in tackling.

his money makes him impossible for Buffalo unless they found a way to get NY to eat some of the money even for just this year.

man would he be good inside here though.

We have like 2 Marlboros of cap space

Nys or South Carolina?  Because if it's nys packs we might be able to fit it in

There is no reality where he is traded for that much.

That would definitely be a nice acquisition for sure and I've wondered if it could be pulled off but I'm not sure if the Bills cap would have enough to pay him seeing as they have paid a bunch of their guys already ?

Didn't Simmons get a huge extension recently ? But if Beane could make it happen I think he would .
