This sneaky joe just said that the bills always keep the mahomes in check. That yesterday was just second best yards per attempt against them. Wtf does that mean to anything? Please take advance stats away from these two buffoons they don’t know how to use them. They constantly use expected pct and win probability and things that are just pure made up BS. They need to be removed from the morning show.

Not perfect by any stretch, but the outlook after this win vs the outlook if they had lost is night and day. And the "but the playoffs!" narrative is irrelevant until the playoffs.

 

2 other quick observations:

- I watched this game with the sound muted. So much more pleasurable than listening to announcers over-hyping everything

- WGR post-game with Schopp and Bulldog is unlistenable. Smarmy, arrogant, ignorant, and negative even after a win like this.

 

You know that Schopp has to show he is the smartest person in the room as always, and "Lapdog" plays right into his schtick, playing the "Dumb Oaf" part of it far too often when he is actually pretty intelligent when he wants to be.

 

Same issue with Jeremy White in the AM who always knows everything and nobody can tell him otherwise.

Mine was seeing Cam Lewis on the last play on the line with Kelce making him a non factor. This, while the Bills put pressure on Mahomes by actually rushing the passer. The defensive mentality was to win.

Bishop has been on an upward trend since week 1 so I don't think it's a blip.  He may not put up stats like this every week as some of that was a function of how KC plays offense but I think the guy has arrived.  That critical INT against NO opened my eyes as to what he could do mentally & physically against the pass.

jags have a tie breaker if they can hang in there

 

its not absolutely sure that KC is going to walk into the playoffs.

 

imagine if this loss sets them on a slide that has them not make it. And people tried to down play this game

It was a huge weekend honestly…it’ll get overshadowed by the chiefs but the Steelers beating the colts was big too.  1 seed is back to a bit of a tossup and if the Steelers hold on to the afc north (which doesn’t seem impossible now) I don’t think there’s room for both the chiefs and ravens in the playoff picture even if they both go on runs

The whole thing is the broncos and chargers have to stay up. They can’t fall back if they keep winning this can be real. But I never trust the chargers to be real

This post is for all the people who told me you cant throw a ball with a corner trailing/sitting/playing zone underneath  and a safety right there.  People have told me this over and over even though we have JOSH ALLEN as our qb.

 

and for fun look how open cook is...that is probably TD if he throws it to cook!

 

I hope he starts throwing these balls more, they have been imo open in the last few weeks and he has just not thrown them.

The head coach recognized that his guys were not set correctly and a couple of players were out of position.  The time out was 100% the right call.

 

When you have several young players on the backend of the defense and they are trying to determine who has who - that is when you get a broken play for a TD.

 

I can't say for definite that was the case on that play. I'd have to watch it back. But the other two defensive timeouts McDermott used were 100% because the D was not lined up right.

It's going to be tough for the Chargers as they may have lost both starting tackles. Alt had another high ankle sprain and I heard that it might need surgery.  We complain about Bill's injury's but there are a lot of teams that have had it worse then us.

On DraftKings, the Bills currently have, by far, the best odds to get the AFC # 1 seed (+140, with Indy second at +360). And the Chiefs are still heavily favored to make the playoffs. Ravens also favored to make the playoffs, although not by much…
