Welp, the defensive injuries started early this year and didn't wait until the end of the season.

Can someone explain what happened on the 4th and 17 play? The coverage looked, ummm, a little suspect,

Enough.  They weren’t lined up right that play.  And as Romo said the TO when they were on the goal line stopped them.  This team sucked it up today.  The D held Mahomes to around 50% completion, Josh was great, Cook, Bishop, Hairston.  So just stop.

It’s not THAT PLAY, it was 4 ***** defensive time outs.  From a DEFENSIVE COACH.

Ingram got picked off.  It was obvious.  Usually Pick Plays are more subtle

The 2nd timeout resulted in an interception.  The first would have been a sack or at a min a bad hurry if Bosa didn't go brain dead from having such a ridiculous free path to the QB

The Bills D was not ready for then play 2 of those time outs.  KC was on goal line, running no huddle, and McD called TO and subbed in our Big guys.  Bills Big Guys made a huge stop on Hunt- great TO McD

I’m just an old guy watching the game but I think with the crowd noise the youngsters aren’t where they’re supposed to be.  McD has to use the timeouts because they’re not set up right.  I believe we’ll see improvement as the season continues.

You can feel the whole team pucker.

How about pitching the ball to Cook on second or third down on the last drive?

How about having some motion , different personnel grouping, anything but running it into the pile three times in a row. 
Cook has HOF level vision, patience and cutting ability. Put him in a spread out formation and let him pick his holes. Every time? No. But as a change up and as a reason to keep other team’s Ds on their heels. 
My wife was yelling at the TV…Not up the middle 🤷‍♂️
