If Mahomes buys any time at all, guys are wide open all over the place

More often than not he also will hang in the pocket waiting for routes to develop versus sprinting to the sideline.

My god Washington has had so many opportunities to get into this game and they have blown all of them

If Lattimore was a high school football player he would be running sprints tomorrow for that weak attempt to recover that fumble.

He also has film evidence that someone might get open if he does.   We all get what you are implying.

Which allows him to use the full field. If someone does come open.

Can't get the game, but let me guess: The Chiefs are getting all the bounces and calls (of course), and they've had zero injuries.

Does he?  Mahomes moves in and out of the pocket trying to extend the play.  His reward is often seeing wide open receivers.
