WR was absolutely a need for the Jaguars; their WRs have been arguably the worst in the league this season.

Reflection of their QB more than their WR, IMO

Olave is one hit away from a nice lady feeding him porridge the rest of his life.

True. Of course thats the problem. I found it interesting that the Saints were allegedly looking to extend him before next year. Allegedly.

How does that pertain to Meyers? Are you saying he's overrated?

No, more of a caveat emptor. I thought Samuel was a good pickup. He did pretty well with Washington and was universally regarded as a decent receiver. But as a Bill he's been underwhelming.

Lawrence has his warts for sure, but guys dropping perfectly thrown, easy passes are not his fault. Nor is whatever the hell Thomas has been up to this season; he looks like the Monstars stole his talent.

I'm interested in 3 players: Breece Hall, Dexter Lawrence, Budda Baker.

The Bills have told us who they are. They want to run the ball and play great defense. Breece upgrades our offense by giving us one of the best backup RBs int he league, allowing Cook to remain fresh at all times and giving our offense an insurance policy should he miss time.

Lawrence upgrades our entire defense, giving us more push up front, which should in turn make our secondary more effective.

Baker hopefully prevents those ridiculous 3rd/4th and 15+ from being converted, which is the only reason we didn't blow the doors off KC.

I like BTJ but he hasn't been great this year, would be learning our system on the fly and would not be cheap. I don't get the logic where he's good enough to trade for hoping he can adapt quickly, but bad enough that the Jags would trade him. I feel like I'm missing something here? They are 5-3 and trying to improve by trading for WRs while Hunter is out, I just don't get how a trade helps them?

BTJ would be more of a medium-long term type of move. Not just a bandaid to try to boost this season.

Yeah potential is a nice thing to have.

I have potential, at least that's what my mother told me 37 years ago.

especially with history with Brady - just really surprising how it played out.

still wonder if there’s more to the story

The Giants would have to be not right in the head to trade Lawrence regardless of where in any given rebuild they are. That’s the type of player you lock up forever and never let out of your grasp.

I’m so sick of having ‘everybody eats’ shoved down our throats.

It’s ok if one guy eats a little more than the rest!

Scheffter on McAfee right now "Buffalo did not reach out on Meyers, they were interested in different players"

If we could pull off NO’s  Olave and LV’s Tyree Wilson. I’d call it a win.

Particularly when that’s always been the case. Even when we had Diggs everyone ate. It’s just, with him, everyone had an easier time filling their plate.

Samuel has been underwhelming due to injuries mostly.

He can be a good receiver. Remember how he looked in the playoffs last season?
