There's another tweet that says they expect Hunter back in 3 weeks.

Hunter in 3 weeks but BTJ is hurt, do we want to make another Cooper type trade? Granted think Cooper got hurt after getting here but still...

It's an interesting dilemma for Beane in all honesty.

You've come so close to a Super Bowl so winning a playoff game or two is just not as meaningful as usual.

So you have to decide.

Do you go all in? If you do, you better win.

Do you totally sit out? If you do, you better win.

Do you make moves around the margins? Probably the only approach that won't come with enormous criticism if you don't win.

And?  Neither did 31 other teams.

This idea that Beane and Mcdermott are incompetent just needs to die

31 other teams don't have Josh Allen at QB

Beane reminds me of my former college coach, Mike Gundy.

He's so damn stubborn to prove he knows better than the fans and everyone else... he'll run the ship into the ground before making a move to improve the team.

Difference is, Mike Gundy was a man.  When he was 40, he told a reporter to criticize him.  When Beane was 48, he went on a radio show to tell the hosts NOT to criticize him.

Whatever the opposite of a silver lining is…we made trades three years in a row and it didn’t help anything 😂. If you want to look at it that way haha

💩 we've made deadline trades like 3 out of the last 4 years

EDITED: I forget about Amari Cooper, how impactful he was and all....

Like what? Getting Nyheim Hines? Rasul Douglas? That's IT.

2024: Amari Cooper (October)
2023: Rasul Douglas

2022: Nyheim Hines

2021: Nothing
2020: Nothing

2019: Sent off Zay Jones for a 5th rounder

2018: Nothing

So tell me again, how  💩 my comment is...

Other thing deebo does really well is run block

One of the things the bills like about their offense is that their receivers do not give a tell if it's run vs pass play

Deebo is cooked. Dude is a constant presence on the injury report for the last few years now. Just zero interest on my end in him or Olave for those reasons.

I could probably be sold on Olave at the right price, but Deebo is just a shell of what he was. Waddle or Wilson, he did it with Diggs, he needs to pay the division premium and get it done.

Tee Higgins is another guy I’d be in on. Bengals were foolish for paying two WRs in the first place, and while he just reupped, that doesn’t seem to be precluding the Jets from moving on from guys they’ve recently resigned to huge deals.

If they're saying he still might be able to go this week, it's clearly not that bad.

Steve Tasker on GR is enraging me right now. Basically saying the team is ready to win it all as-is. They just need to "play better" in the playoffs.

No offense to a player that I have loved from those teams, but he is a complete dolt in what he’s saying. Basically that nothing can 100% guarantee a Super Bowl victory -  no crap. But guess what if you make your team significantly better at the trade deadline your chances go away up. How can I not get through his thick skull? I had to turn off the show because it’s just insufferable… The lack of Go for mentality. He said they’ve been just on the doorstep for the last six years… Well, how about we walk through the damn door for once!

Oh thats right...I forgot there are literally NO OTHER TEAMS with good QBs in the NFL.

They've essentially been using Kincaid as their #1 WR, which worked pretty good against KC.

My guess is that Bills FO sees how good the OLine and Run game are playing, see how well the TEs are playing, on the verge of getting PAlmer back...and likely think it's not worth a 2nd rounder (which they can use on a safety or WR).

If anything, I'd imagine they think it's more worth it to bring an an above average hybrid DL

The league is wide open. Getting as much help as possible could be the difference between another postseason exit and SB win.

It's not going to be this way next year.

Whart a sea of misery here.

Thankfully many of you are content sailing along in the Ship of Fools.

Is something in the water up there?  Why is everyone so bloody negative?

Because we all want something badly, and we have no control over it. And we can all see that this team doesn't have enough, but for some reason the one person who could do something about it doesn't seem to feel the urgency that we all do. I think this direction is actually coming from ownership. You have to admit, watching other teams get better every year during FA and at the deadline while we do little to nothing is frustrating.
