Just don’t think the ‘Phins will be looking to trade players to the Bills.

I also don't think Beane is dying to trade premium picks to the Dolphins

Just like the trades on draft day if it helps your team you make the deal.

given the history of the dolphins organization if the bills sent a 2 and a 5 or whatever for waddle I am sure they would not be worried about what they do with the picks

Why aren’t we going after Hendrickson? He would be a rental player as he’s only on a one year deal.  We should be able to work out something with Cincy where they eat most of his ‘25 salary in order to receive some high draft picks.

I think it is the opposite. I don’t think the dolphins would deal with us. Stinks, because I wanted Phillips or Chubb.

The only way Beane doesn’t look moronic for not getting this deal done for Philips, especially after Hoecht’s injury, is if he’s doing a deal for Waddle.  But I’m guessing he isn’t.

Phillips for a 3rd would’ve been the perfect move for us… but it probably would’ve taken a 2nd to beat out the NFC offer.. if they’ll even trade with us at all.

I wish teams would stop trading with him

How could Miami turn down a 3rd round pick for a guy who is not going to be on the team next year?

Miami probably couldn’t have said yes fast enough.  I am surprised though they got the eagles 3 which will be like a four.

Scheduling "luck" that we play the Dolphins in Miami immediately after the deadline, that must complicate things one would presume?

Cannot forsee them trading Waddle to Buffalo and then having to face him in 5 days time.

Make a condition where they cant suit up. Done. Next?

He is the Super Bowl winning piece. Bills need closers on defense. Hendrickson is a closer. I think the offense is fine if they continue to utilize Cook and the return of Palmer. Bosa and Hendrickson closing games defensively would be awesome. Adding Minkah Fitzpatrick would be the cherry on top of Dolphins are selling low

Wrong. You and I don't know what he's tried to work out. Takes two sides to make a trade and frankly, the deal has to make sense for both sides. Vastly overpaying for Waddle would be an idiotic move if that's what the Dolphins are asking.

Dodson and douglas for a 6th rounder.  We need back 7 players who are better than replacement value and know the defense.  Then trade a higher pick for a pass rusher.

No to Douglas. I don't want anyone brought in that would get in the way of Max seeing reps. Max is the guy we have to get up to speed. At this point Douglas might be a dime CB for us, and we don't need to bring in a guy for that.

Doubt Waddle will be traded within the division

Doubt Waddle will be traded at all. They view him as a building block for the future. Especially with the uncertainty around Tyreek's availability next year and the HUGE dead cap they would face. You would have to VASTLY overpay for them to move him.

From reports Beane has been very active looking for a WR.  Have to add a DT to that as well.  I expect we will bring guys in by trade at each spot, and that half the folks on the board will beeyatch about who he got.

Exactly. Especially considering that the big name guys just aren't available this year. And the ones that are play for the Dolphins or Jets.

But I swear if the Chiefs end up getting Breece Hall In gonna snap

Could you imagine if Beane somehow pulls off a Waddle trade and McD decides to sit him for a week?!

Trading Waddle to the Bills the same week they are going to play each other would be a PR disaster for Miami but if the ship is about to sink and the Bills give them the best offer it'd be stupid for them to refuse. All Miami has left to fight for this year is a AFCE wooden spoon race with the Jets.

It typically takes forming the letter “N” following by a close by “o”

For a guy with an expiring contract who has looked to have lost some of his high end play after an achilles tear and acl surgery?

The dolphins would be insane to not take a 3 for him.
