O-lineman gets beat bad, tackles Ed from behind and injures him in the process.  No flag was thrown.

The Bills can 'put the boots to him' when Carolina trades him to Buffalo.

It's insane to me how ravaged our DT room has become. We went into this season loaded. Adding T.J. Sanders, Deone Walker, and Larry Ogunjobi to a remaining field of Ed Oliver, Daquan Jones, and DeWayne Carter.

Since cutting down to 53, we:

- Lost DeWayne Carter for the year before it started with an Achilles tear.

- Ed Oliver went down with a mysterious foot injury that cost him 4 games.

- T.J. Sanders had to have knee surgery and got IR'ed (he may or may not return at the end of the season).

- Daquan Jones's "calf popped" before the Falcons game and there's no ETA on his return.

- After returning for the Falcons game, Ed Oliver has sustained what looks like a season ending injury.

So we now are down 2/3 of the DT's we expected to have this season. Left with just Deone Walker and Larry Ogunjobi. Just unbelievable bad luck.

I think the bills should explore a trade for a new DT, more than any other position.

They are down to:

1. Walker (shining star)

2. Oganjobi

3. Jones (returning soon hopefully)

4. Sanders (IR returning in a few weeks hopefully)

Even if Jones and Sanders are back ASAP, trusting this group to make it through the rest of the season without more bumps and bruises would be a gamble I wouldn’t be willing to take. I wonder if the saints would think about trading Cameron Jordan

You can probably throw Zion Logue into that mix somewhere, but I don't know enough about intraroster transactions to know how they'll do it.

Wait, get in line. WR trade demanders were here 1st! 😉

It sucks but the whole point of investing so much in DL depth is that you can survive a long-term injury to a very good player.  We can't invest more there.  Not over a WR that can stretch the D, imo.

I think you're not being realistic thinking Sanders will be back "in a few weeks".

He had Knee Surgery just a few weeks ago. Though not anything reconstructive, I don't think you open up your knee and you're back that quick. McDermott said he was "hopeful" he returns "at some point". But didn't rule out him not returning. Just that he has a better shot at returning than Hamlin does.

With him, I wouldn't expect him back before the very tail end of the year or in the Playoffs - if at all.

They need to add Logue to the active roster

They likely need to add 2 of the 3 from the field of Logue, Phillips, and Mathis.

Right now, we're down to just Deone Walker and Larry Ogunjobi on the 53. Both Jordan Phillips and Zion Logue have used all 3 of their call-ups for the Regular season.

I suppose they could sign one of them and elevate Mathis for up to two weeks (as they've elevated him once before this season), until Jones returns. But I imagine that he'll be out at least 1 more week, if not 2.

Well. We are still getting pressure.

Yep, against possibly one of the worst OL ‘salso riddled with injuries.  Plus it was an immobile Andy dalton.  Won’t happen against Mahomes.  It does matter who you play and we always struggle to sack Mahomes. Great w today , but just  keeps pace w the Pats who have a very easy schedule compared to the Bills.  Get 7 sacks against the chiefs and I will be very impressed.

Pretty sure Reid is smart enough to take away cook running. Our oc still can’t find him in our passing game. Our o line will struggle protecting against Jones per usual and if Palmer is still out ,it migt be a long day for Allen. He still doesn’t seem like himself; escaping backwards and he never scrambled at all today. Guess someone is not wanting him to run ?!  Wonder if it is Mcd, Brady, Beane , or his beautiful wife? If it’s her , I would completely understand as no way could football ever compare to keeping her a happy wife!  lol!   Next week will tell us the truth , this w is like fools gold !  lol!   I don’t care what anyone says , not every W is created equal!  Best wishes , Happy Halloween!

If it were a complete rupture proximal, at the shoulder, they wouldnt do anything.  That is how folks get the "Popeye" biceps, they dont even re attach it.

But the elbow...damn

Yes, a complete biceps tendon tear would cause a Popeye biceps. But these are often repaired especially if you are young and healthy. I had one repaired (and I’m not young. It was a pretty benign surgery with relatively short recovery and no loss of function.
has the diagnosis been confirmed?
