They completely missed it... they kept talking about a guy wearing a Stetson who had his face painted... 😜 1 Quote

Analysists seemed to think the half would run out but to their credit the Panthers FG unit got the kick off with 1 second on the game clock and half the Bills D still running on the field. It’s a miracle that: 1) Dalton took that sack 2)they got the kick off, 3) they missed it 4) we didn’t have 12 men on the field! 1 Quote
SoMAn Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 4 hours ago, Jalan81 said: LOL did you bother to look at their schedule? Did you look at the average pass distance thrown? The passing offense is broke and a big part of it is Brady. I have no idea Brady is to blame, but it’s apparent that the Bills don’t have wideouts that can separate. Watching today, there was an endzone shot on a play that Josh was running for his life. I had two thoughts watching it: the receivers were completely covered. But, the other side to that coin is that the plays are taking wayyy too long to develop. That may fall on Brady. Maybe he has to stop calling plays that don’t work for these receivers. A quick rhythmic 3-step drop with precise dink and dunk timing might work better with this group. Similar to what was so effective with Tom Brady. The great irony is that we have a QB with a rocket arm that can launch the ball 70 yards, but don’t have receivers who can go that far and shed defenders. Joe Brady needs to work with the players he has and find mismatches. 13 personnel is a good start. 1 Quote

Seemed like any chaos mainly affected Carolina. I think there was 17 or 14 seconds when they started to try. Not much was said, I think Olsen was like "they're going to try to pull off a fire drill field goal, can they get everyone off the field in time, I dont think they can get to it.." then they did but missed it and he was all "yeah, halftime" Quote

Their is a possessive pronoun. If I point to your parents car and ask who it is, you could say "It's their car" referencing your parents. In this case I was speaking of multiple WRs. It would be their debut. Today, Larry O, Hoecht and Mad Max made their Buffalo Bills debut. Next week I hope some new WRs make their debut as well. 2 Quote

So it would make sense to only count targets actually passed by Allen and not Trubisky. 1 Quote

Even after he sees FOUR guys closing in on him with nowhere to go, he cuts back inside to take a huge sack! Why wouldn't you throw it away? These are mistakes he made in his first 2 years, now popping back up again. 3rd & 6 at the opposing 14 yard line. Ran so far back that he was sacked past the 30 yard line. It was a bad decision because it made the FG a little bit harder, but it didn't matter because we still made the FG. So that sack vs a throw away made zero impact on the game. Allen probably would have escaped if that guy didn't get a piece of his jersey while diving. It happens... Quote
BigDingus Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago 31 minutes ago, Simon said: I think you answered your own question. That didn't answer my question though. It was 3rd & 6 inside the redzone... at the opponent's 14 yard line. That made an easy FG into a much tougher FG & eliminated any chances of going for it on 4th down. Those kind of things may be ok against the Panthers, but they've killed us in the past against better teams. You think it was better to take a nearly 20 yard sack rather than just throw it out of bounds? 7 minutes ago, DapperCam said: It was a bad decision because it made the FG a little bit harder, but it didn't matter because we still made the FG. But not every game is a route of the Panthers & a backup QB. The game wasn't a blowout at this point either. We're also ignoring that he's been making bad decisions the prior 2 games (losses) and this was after 2 weeks of prep. I was expecting a fire to be lit under him & to come out with something to prove. Our kicker also missed an XP. Where Josh took a sack made a FG attempt significantly further back than an XP, so that could've been points off the board. It also killed any chance of going for it on 4th down, had they wanted to. Nobody would be ok with this had it happened against the Chiefs. It shouldn't be ok now just because it happened in a blowout, in his 3rd straight game of not playing great. 1 Quote

He's the outside receiver Coleman was supposed to be plus great over the middle. With a quality QB he'd be electric. 1 Quote

In an alternate scenario (like we're further back on the field), he likely eats the sack immediately or throws it away. I cannot remember an instance where an Allen sack took us out of FG range. I'm sure it has happened, but I can't remember any specific instances in the last 5 seasons. Quote

dakarider17 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Great win and Cook was MVP. But Andy Dalton was the reason this game was so lopsided. Bills took advantage and that is what good teams do. 2 Quote

You don’t have to settle for all or nothing. Finding a matchup to give your guy a chance in that situation, or least put in it in play for a potential penalty, is something I think he’s shying away from. I don’t hate it down in the red area. 1 Quote

Cook has elite vision. Ray Davis just hits the line at full speed. Sort of like Zach Moss. I’m sorry, but I can’t stand the way Ray Davis plays. Reminds me of the way Marshawn Lynch ran his first couple of years here. Just runs full speed into a pile of lineman. I always thought Fred was the more fluid runner Truthfully, I can’t stand North-South running backs. Give me a slasher with underrated speed like Cook or Shady McCoy anyway. Love to watch a natural runner do their thing. My only gripe is lack of targets in the passing game. I’m not sure who exactly is at fault, but it’s strange not having your biggest weapon catch passes. 2 hours ago, zow2 said: The issue with Ray Davis 2025 is that he offers nothing special. He has no vision, no burst, does not run downhill, does not push the pile, etc.. I’d absolutely give Gore Jr a shot to have some meaningful carries. McBeane is being stubborn about this. I guess Ray must be a prolific blocker to warrant staying the backup RB He’s a poor man’s singletary. Edited 1 hour ago by ChronicAndKnuckles Quote

The guy would dance behind the LOS forever his first few years and didn’t become the one cut, can’t take him down after contact beast mode until he left Buffalo Quote
Brand J Posted 29 minutes ago Posted 29 minutes ago Haven’t scrubbed through this thread, but has anyone mentioned the clutch tackle by Hancock on Dowdle’s 24 yard run? If Hancock was Rapp, Dowdle scores on that play, but because the stop was made we got a turnover on that drive to negate points. Poyer played 45/54 snaps, but I’d like to see Hancock on the field more and not just on some passing downs here and there. 3 1 Quote

Thanks for sharing I missed a lot of the first half and wanted to know how Hancock played. I actually love that right now our top 3 safeties are Bishop, Poyer and Hancock. Hopefully Rapp and Hamlin are out all year 1 1 Quote
