him coming back couldn't make our secondary any worse!? Tray needs to watch the games from the sidelines.......

That's not going to happen for some time.

They are almost certainly not going to activate him to play this week. The earliest I think you can hope for is next week against the Chiefs. Even then, it wouldn't surprise me if they used all 21 days in the Practice Window before they deemed him ready to see the field.

And *even then*, they aren't just going to throw him in the fire and start him off the jump. The first week he'll be on a limited snap count, that will see a ramp up over the first few weeks, if things go swimmingly after getting his proverbial sea legs under him.

Hairston putting White on the Sidelines won't happen until like Week 11 or Week 12 at the earliest. And only if he's taking to everything well.

I agree. Would I love him to get some playing time, especially if we are up big against the Panthers, sure. He's had 4 practices in the NFL, 0 preseason games. The likelihood that they'll throw him out there against KC with under two weeks of practice are extremely unlikely.

If he’s physically ready to play and our secondary is playing like ass again anyway, you never know. As long as he’s not risking hurting himself, does it really matter if Mahomes is completing passes on Tre instead of Max?

Seeing as they have the Panthers as their next game it may be a good game to get him up to speed on some things before the rest of the season comes along fast as it will .

It seemed that they were rotating in Dorian Strong in for a few series in each of the games before his neck injury, and I'm pretty sure I saw JaMarcus Ingram rotate in for at least one series in the Atlanta game....

If they ae willing to rotate in Ingram, there should be no reason they won't be rotating Hairston in for Tre as soon as he is ready......he might not replace Tre right away, but he will certainly be sharing snaps.....maybe only a series or two at first, but if everything goes well, his playing time will increase from there.

I mean, someone’s gonna need to try and stay with Worthy…

Good god the guy is a first round pick w lightning speed.  Put him on the field, sign a vet who still can play, and get rid of Tre.  Just him being  on the team at this point is bringing the entire team down.

I doubt it.  Leg injury means they are not running..which means their cardio is off;  I can't seem them put him on an NFL field without the proper conditioning

Certainly. Like I said, he'll be on a snap count the first week he plays, cycling in for White. He'll get more and more the following weeks, if it seems like he's comfortable and performing well.

But the idea that "Tre needs to be watching the game from the sidelines" implies taking over for him full time. That's not going to happen immediately. We're 2-3 weeks out before he starts getting some in game reps and then probably another 2-3 weeks before they entrust him with starting over White, if that happens at all. Here's hoping though.

The 4-3 Panthers are no pushovers. Bills and Panthers are both 2nd in their otherwise weak divisions.

Anybody remember what Tre White looked like as a rookie? I honestly cant. Diff scenario completely since Tre was healthy and had a full TC.

Man if we ever needed a HR of a draft pick its right now. Beane could use the 'W' too

We got Mad Max for his game changing speed, something we haven’t had in this secondary for far too long, hope he’s healed up and we can get to see what he can do against Worthy, Flowers, and what’s left in Miami.  We’ve been missing that for a while, hope it’s everything we dreamed it’d be on draft day (well, next year for sure, gotta give the kid a chance!).
