Would you trade the Bills roster (except Josh Allen) for Ohio State's.

  1. 1. We'd have two future superstar receivers in Jeremiah Smith and Carnell Tate; and a future pro bowl safety in Caleb Williams.

    • Keep Bills roster
      37
    • Trade for Ohio State's
      9

This has to be the dumbest post I have ever read on here. How many NFL players does Ohio State have on their roster right now?

10 if they are lucky?

Do you really think a college team can beat a NFL team?  Lol

Between 1934 and 1976, the defending NFL champion played the Chicago Charities College All-Star Game against a team of top graduating college seniors.

NFL dominance: Over 42 games, the NFL teams won 31, the college all-stars won nine, and there were two ties.

I do think if a team was allowed to have an entire draft class from which to pick and choose, the rookies would be good enough to beat a bottom 5 NFL roster. I don’t think such a team would beat the upper echelon teams though, but that’s a far more interesting topic.

Today or in a few years when eligible? They probably have 30 something but they’re an exception. They probably have 10-15 guys that’ll go in the 1st when the time comes. This year alone they’ll have 5 or so (Tate, Reese, Styles, Downs, McDonald). The Buckeyes have more high end prospects than the Bills have players. The best of the Buckeyes will be better NFL players than the best of the Bills. Downs and Smith specifically are Pro Bowl talents right now.

I’d trade the Bills WRs for the Buckeyes WRs today. Anyone would. You’d do the same with the safeties. Otherwise, you have to take the NFL bodies. If the Bills played the Buckeyes, they’d destroy them.

Ohio State players recently drafted to the NFL:

2025: 14 players

2024: 4 players

2023: 6 players

2022: 6 players

We might have some good skill players if we swapped teams, but good luck filling out the trenches (offensive and defensive lines). For the 2026 draft, it looks like they may again have about 14 draft eligible players. That would leave about 11 starting spots open on an NFL team, and no depth. As good as OSU is and as many players as they have get drafted, you would probably need at least the last 5 years of OSU rosters to fill out an NFL team. And you would still have to be starting some guys picked in say rounds 5-7.

If the Bills did this in March, so they had a full offseason to prepare, they would go 0-17 next year even with Josh at QB. Julian Sayin with the Bills roster would be better than Josh with the Ohio State roster.
