QB Bills Posted yesterday at 06:16 PM Posted yesterday at 06:16 PM You give Allen the 90s roster and the Bills would never lose a game. 9 1 1 1 Quote
NewEra Posted yesterday at 06:17 PM Posted yesterday at 06:17 PM Bruce may have finished with 250 sacks playing DE in a 4-3. 1 2 Quote
RkFast Posted yesterday at 06:18 PM Posted yesterday at 06:18 PM (edited) Probably a wash. McD's strengths and weaknesses and Marv's have A LOT of parallels. Both are good delegators & leaders of men and strong builders of 'team culture.' Both have implemented very strong overall team "programs." Both are so-so in-game managers. Gregg Posted yesterday at 06:25 PM Posted yesterday at 06:25 PM (edited) Allen with those Bills teams in the 90's wins the Giants Super Bowl and the 2nd Cowboys Super Bowl. Allen would have a much better defense led by #78. Allen would have Reed and Lofton to throw to. Even though Cook is a good back he is still no Thurman. The Redskins he probably loses as they physically dominated the Bills. The first Cowboys Super Bowl they also probably lose with all the turnovers they had. So, I say Allen goes 2-2 in those 4 Super Bowls with the 90's teams. Edited yesterday at 06:26 PM by Gregg 4 Quote

Jay_Fixit Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM I bet Sean would have changed the gameplan against the Giants to give the ball to Thurman instead of trying to pass and ensure a Bills victory unlike Marv did. 1 Quote
Call_Of_Ktulu Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM Posted yesterday at 06:44 PM No way the Bills make it to 4 straight SB’s with McD 1 2 Quote

I will never understand why they didn't run Thurman more. He was dominant that day. At the very least the Giants would have been forced to put more men in the box to stop him and that would have helped Kelly open up the passing game. Edited yesterday at 06:48 PM by Gregg 4 Quote

Well, Kenneth Davis would be on the field every 3rd down and Thurman would be watching during the final drive of the Giants SB 4 Quote

Sean would have benched Thurman to make it harder on Kelly just like he did last night to Allen by benching Cook. 1 Quote
dorquemada Posted yesterday at 07:41 PM Posted yesterday at 07:41 PM I actually thought about this last night, and had a memory of one time after Kelly got sacked bc house ballard missed a block, right after on the sideline, Kelly had Ballard by his facemask pulling his face down and was screaming at him. He didnt miss another block all year, if memory serves! In any case, I wouldnt mind seeing Allen hold other players to account more often. Quote

Sweats Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM Posted yesterday at 07:49 PM If the Bills of the 90's who had the best franchise roster on all facets of the ball couldn't win even one SB, how do we even possibly think that with the roster we have today, that we would ever win a SB?!? ..........serious question. 1 Quote
