Pete Posted Saturday at 01:38 PM Author Posted Saturday at 01:38 PM we are screwed then. Our WRs can’t beat man- that’s the way to defend us. That is unless Brady schemes WRs open 😂. hey Joe- here’s some free tips- throw passes to RBs. PLAY ACTION-all game! Pass out of 12 and 13 personal. run 12 and 13 personal most of the game. 1 hour ago, GunnerBill said: The Chiefs don't really play us in zone though. They did in the regular season last year - the odd day where we played more man and they played more zone - but generally the Chiefs run a high man coverage percentage against us. 1 Quote
Augie Posted Saturday at 01:51 PM Posted Saturday at 01:51 PM Will he get a HC job, or should he be fired? We should lean clearly one way or the other, right? Quote

The problem with play action is Josh doesn't like being under centre. I agree they need to throw to running backs more but the fundamental issue remains their skill players can't separate. 1 Quote

Hard to run PA vs a blitz heavy team that plans man. The DBs aren’t looking in the backfield to be fooled and PAs are slower developing plays so the blitzers tend to be all over the QB. Probably won’t see a ton of that vs the Chiefs. Quote
Figster Posted Saturday at 03:50 PM Posted Saturday at 03:50 PM (edited) My 87 year old mom went to her Halloween party yesterday dressed as Cole Beasley. (true story) Why is this important to Joe Brady you might ask? Josh Allen and Cole Beasley were unstoppable that's why. Edited Saturday at 04:09 PM by Figster 1 Quote

KC is the worst ranking in NFL at play action FYI. Quote

I'm sure they would have a viable solution. 1 Quote
Since1981 Posted Saturday at 05:31 PM Posted Saturday at 05:31 PM Don’t need all run blocking WR, if said WR catch long passes. Don Beebe did not block but opened field for Thurman. Quote

Pete Posted Sunday at 07:25 PM Author Posted Sunday at 07:25 PM Go to 6.50 Sal and Jeremy talk about different evaluations of offense performance between Joe Brady and McD. It’s quotes from booths press conferences. McD in press conference credited the the running game to Aaron Krommer. He didn’t mention Brady. McD said he wanted to be more two dimensional, that he had concerns. Joe Brady “Passing game is great” ”We didn’t pass because we didn’t have to”. I would love to hear conversations between Joe and Sean. I’m sure Sean told Joe what he expected from the offense going forward. So this is huge game for Joe Brady. KC is scoring as much as they ever have. They invest in WRs, and will torture us with 4 competent WRs. So Joe, we have Josh and Cook, and we can go toe to toe, no problem. It’s on you Joe, let’s see what you got. Are you a great coordinator? Or are you a fraud? GO BILLS! Quote

Right now the best player on offense is James Cook, he’s the one who makes it go. If I was Spags I’d take Cook away, along with the horizontal/close to the LoS passes and force the Bills to hit on explosive plays. Something they haven’t shown they can do in quite some time. And I think this is exactly how they will play us. With the blitz coming from everywhere, Quote

May Day 10 Posted Sunday at 10:08 PM Posted Sunday at 10:08 PM Joe Brady is great 1st drive of each half. The rest is awful unless Cook can get 6 yards a carry 1 Quote
wppete Posted Sunday at 10:23 PM Posted Sunday at 10:23 PM Joe Brady is a major issue for this team. 1 1 Quote
hondo in seattle Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Posted yesterday at 02:14 AM Brady schemed and called a good game today. He mixed the pass and run well, mostly called the right plays at the right time, and I liked the no-huddle after big chunk plays. That seemed to catch KC off guard. Quote

The Chiefs were confused by the absence of tight end sweeps on third down. 1 Quote
