It's tanking with extra steps though. There's no reason for it.

It's a bizarre move, to say the least. It has Mike Brown's fingerprints all over it.

If Brown pushed the deal through, it's got to have favourable tax implications for the Bengals. 😁

What's more funny is that Mike Brown watched Flacco throw 2 picks against his sorry defense in week 1. He had front-row seats for that, and still decided to hitch his franchise to that wagon just because he was basically free.

If they wanted to compete, Cousins was the move. This is just a save face move for the fan base.

I read the falcons wanted a “premium pick” and for the new team to pay most of cousins salary. I agree he’s the best available right now, (maybe Winston) but to give up a 2 or 3 for 10 games? Bad move

Mike Brown went all in this year. He is demanding that they keep trying to compete. Also, Browning is playing like Peterman back there and Chase is starting to chirp. Something had to be done. But why this and not Russell Wilson?

BC Wilson is trash AND an #######.

If Amari Cooper is worth a 3, then Cousins definitely is.

Have you see Russell at any point in the last year?

I'm shocked he's even on a roster.

A friend and Bengals fan was telling me he hopes they trade for Wilson. I repeatedly told him to be careful what he wishes for. Russel no longer cooks cos he is cooked himself.

Flacco should be retired and enjoying his money. He must be the type that doesn't know what to do with himself outside of football.

I’m impressed, I would have thought the Greyhound bus would have been a straight shot south. Why splurge on a plane ticket like that? Bengals are showing off now!

Flacco bought the ticket (probably)

I think it had something to do with Wilson refusing to work in the Paycor Stadium concession booths, making 'Dangerwiches' on the days he isn't starting.

"Well, Joe, we'll see how you do, and if  we're happy, we'll refund your airfare."

Or they demanded that Russ allow Skyline to sell a "Dangeruss Spicy 3-Way," and Cierra said no.

This is fantastic news . Hopefully the Bengals can win a few games and keep KC out of the playoffs

I'd still rather not see the Bengals in the Playoffs if Burrow comes back in December.

KC is not missing the playoffs. Not a chance

It would be pretty shocking, but they better figure it out quick. They have 2 wins against the Giants and the suddenly terrible Ravens. They have the Lions this week and if they fall to 2-4, with both the Chargers and Broncos in front of them, they are looking at the 6/7 seed. Meanwhile, the Colts and Jags are both 4-1 and the Pats* are hanging around too at 3-2

The AFC isnt a cakewalk anymore and right now the Chefs are having trouble closing games
