He does have the physical traits that many elite QB's have. The question is whether he can put it all together. If he does, he can be a top 5 QB and the Bills are in trouble.

Yes, because their roster consists of Josh Allen, James Cook and a whole lot of nothing else.

The Bills WRs and TEs are average or maybe slightly above but nobody in this group is striking fear in opposing HC's and DCs. From the skill position on offense its Allen and Cook as stars and not much else.

You cant understate a young QB coming in and putting up that 2nd half in Buffalo.  

 

However, Diggs had that angry juice which helped a lot.  They also had 2-4 amazing sideline catches (well placed throws I guess), but highlight/acrobatic catches to stay in bounds.   Wasnt all impressed with his running, the Bills contained well and were all over him.  

 

 

If this was the Bills during the Brady era and Losman or someone did this in their 2nd season, we would be pretty high on this

I noticed him throwing with good anticipation yesterday. I was impressed.

THat's a back handed compliment. I don't think your defense was sleep walking out there. They (your defense) didn't let Diggs or Maye just go out there and make plays.

He's not there yet, BUT, currently, as a second year player, he was good enough last night to move the chains and take advantage of the Bills secondary when he had to when they started to bring pressure. He is better than Fields and Tua. If Vrabel finds an AJ Brown and a Derrick Henry, he has a higher upside than Tannehill...

Wait until NE utilizes all that cap space next year. They will be adding a true #1 receiver, among other positions. I think this will be the final year Buffalo will be favored to win the division, and most of that will come down to coach/QB combos.

his ceiling is lower than Josh Allen's but objectively he outplayed him last night.

Shows what having a WR like Diggs can do for a QB. We saw it with a young Josh. A solid gameplan to defend Diggs and its possibly a different story.
