The guy chose the number 0, that's about the impact he has each week.  Insanely poetic.

I was solidly in the McConkey camp and sorely disappointed when we took Coleman. What terrible pick by Beane.

Same.

And for all that BS about McConkey being a slot guy only...I don't give a damn if that's all he is.  I would much rather have another high end slot WR than whatever Coleman is (or isnt) right now.

Actually Coleman doesn't hold a candle to Davis at his best.  Go back and look at Bills highlights from a lot of games and you'll see Davis making key big play catch after key big play catch.  And it wasn't just the 13 seconds KC game.  Remember the Indy playoff game and those amazing Davis sideline toe tapping catches?

Davis was not a #1 WR and the Bills were right not to pay him the big bucks but right now Davis would be the 3rd best WR (maybe 2nd best) after Shakir & Palmer.  They need to do everything possible to get Davis on the field.

I agree. I was saying Coleman is not even as good as Gabe at Gabe's worst. So many wanted Gabe gone and he had his flaws for sure but I'd take prime Gabe. I miss prime Gabe in fact.

this thread is a lot of spilt milk to be honest. He is our WR he isn't leaving anytime soon.  We can ***** and moan but it is what it is

I WANT him to show up and show out. It hasn't happened to anyone's satisfaction. Unfortunately

If he has a lot more games like this one he'll find himself on the bench for sure. And then next year he'll be fighting for playing time. 2nd round picks frequently don't get a 2nd contract.

The thing is... He wasn't at GA... He took the majority of his snaps outside there... I think it was 70% in his final year in College. And I know that he was projected to slot in the NFL... But so far from what I can gather he's still taking about 40% of his snaps outside in LA...

Regardless... He's way better than Coleman... And there was not a single Draft analyst I know of that had Coleman rated ahead of McConkey... Like not one...

Ha, fair point. Probably some WR we trade a 4th round pick for at the trade deadline a la Cooper last season.

He's not going anywhere anytime soon as far as his roster spot,  but if Gabe Davis is healthy,  I'd rather see him out there after the bye week for at least a game or two.  Coleman has what,  130 yards or so in the last five games?  Can't get much less production out of Davis.

I know.  The whole thing is just incredibly frustrating.  McConkey was one of the most obvious no-brainer prospects I've seen in awhile.   He was going to find a role and be successful.

Keon is Gabe Davis at Gabe Davis' worst. And this is. It fair to say about Gabe Davis.

Gabe Davis is the most under-appreciated player in Bills history.  Dude was a 4th round pick and had 2700 yards and 27 TD catches while earning less than $4 million.  Players have got $100,000,000 contracts for doing less than that.

If you love watching Gabe Davis play for the Bills, then you are in luck. With the way our WR are playing this season, he'll be getting 80% of the snaps by the end of the season.

I warned everyone his draft year he was the one WR I didn’t want to draft

If you can’t separate in college you won’t do it in the NFL

This kid stinks

It's the amount of separation he gets.

Thank you for owning it. There are still some guys playing the violin as the Titanic is taking on water. Getting on the lifeboat was, unfortunately, the right decision.

Obviously fans admitting sooner or later on a player has no effect and I don't think it was completely unreasonable to think a player coming off a rookie season can't get better.  Especially if he's working as hard as Keon has.

I've just seen enough.  He doesn't have the coordination to play in the league, especially on a supposed super bowl contender.

The Bills were absolutely right for letting him walk.  It’s a low-key great move by Beane.  Just saying that Davis had a really good 4 year run in Buffalo.

Boogie Basham was a 2nd rounder and played 23 games for us before being traded.
