That NE fanbase is so delusional.

 

I'd be excited about the win too if I was them. But the way they talk about it - like once they "reclaim" the division, it's another 20 years or something.  Most of them didn't come of age at a time when divisions were actually competitive and teams fought it out, and no one dominated for decades.

Buffalo didn't play good.. referees brought their A+ game 

 

It was like 9 to 1 penalties at one point and they were getting away with murder but hey I'm over it 

 

It's a long season I'm glad we got the one L off our back because we were not going undefeated

Maye can do some things but that was almost all Diggs.  

Diggs was good tonite.  But we have noone on the back end who is remotely athletic enough to stay with him.  Defense on the whole is slow and are bad tacklers.  Thats a bad combination.  We drafted six guys on defense this year.  And only one is making a difference.  Thats a big problem.  Lets hope Hairston comes back soon.  Even Benford is sleepwalking on the field this year.  Looks slow and disinterested. 

 

This team is seriously flawed.  Gets very little from their outside WR's.  And can't stop anyone.  Could have the worst secondary in the league, definitely bottom 5.  Beane has done a lousy job constructing the team.  No playmakers on defense.  Embarrasing that Tre is on the team.  And only Josh and Cook on offense.  Kincaid was finally getting targets.  And played well tonite.  But we have put a weak team around Josh.  And McDermott is not a motivator.  The team looked very sloppy in the 1st half.  And plays with very little fire.  You could see that on Hard Knocks.  No edge or energy on the practice field.  Everyone just watching Josh throw to receivers against air.  

 

Bills have gotten very comfortable as an organization making the playoffs every year.  Nice organization with a lot of nice guys including our star QB.  Not much edginess and fire in the organization from anyone to get better.  I would cut Tre tomorrow.  Need to send a message that ***** play is not acceptable.  

 

One guy I do like how they play is Sam Franklin.  That guy is a demon on special teams.  He plays like he wants to hurt someone.  Why isn't Jordan Hancock playing?  Bishop and Rapp were out of position all night.  Give the guy a chance.  We need some new blood.

It’s about expectations. They expect their team in those helmets and uniforms to dominate and it seems to them that this is the natural state of affairs. We’ve been waiting for the other shoe to drop for 6 years.

Yep. If Hoculi is assigned the Bills game , you know that’s one battle you will lose. Better make it up with takeaways, no giveaways, run the ball effectively etc.

Its not like since we got the loss out of the way it's clear sailing. This team has a load of problems (bad defense, bad WRs, poor coaching)...to go where we want them to, they need to win these "winnable" games.

They already lost to the Raiders and Steelers. They will probably drop several more games to middle of the road teams, even if their schedule is kind of soft.

The thing I hated most about this game (other than losing obviously) is that Maye continued to play great like he has all season. Really worried he’s gonna be giving us headaches for a long time.

More concerning is how the defense has played. BAL has been the only legit offense and we were a joke most of that game. But even against below average teams we often look outmatched. Come playoff time it’s scary to think the O will carry them.  

Mahomes is already squinting his eyes and waggling his tongue in anticipation of carving up this defense.

Dude I've seen way too much football to throw that much stock into one game 

 

No, literally still first place in the NFL and we didn't even play a good game 

 

And it came down to a field goal.. we play a d Plus game and we lose by a field goal no I'm not that crazy worried in the NFL where every NFL team has a loss

 

Bills fans while passionate also are the most overreacting fan base in the NFL

he is slower than i thought but he can get seperation.  on the crosser he got easy seperation.  not to mention when we brought him in everyone 

said he was going to be hollins+.   i could swear thoughts were high he could stretch the field.

I don't disagree.  I do disagree on what was called and what wasn't called most of the night.

 

They threw us a bone late when they called that PI for the cook pass on the sideline.  Our defense was getting held and dragged down from behind all night and they didn't have a single offensive line penalty.  Somehow, I have trouble thinking that our awesome oline committed 3 holding calls and they had none.

We  haven't seen them and everybody doubting what Josh Allen is capable of doesn't know our MVP he's been asked to do very little
