The Bills beat the Saints because of you... (superstition/karma reasons)

How did your actions yesterday help the Bills win?  Something you ate?  Did you change your shirt at halftime?  Kick that annoying friend/relative out of the house? Secretly get your daughter to the game to surprise your wife?  I’ll start…

 

I was not able to see the game at all, was at a baby shower.

So I kept to food and dress code codes.... I made sure I had my unwashed 3-0 Bills shirt on just prior to kickoff... made sure chicken was on the menu... (previous three games had some version of it) everyone (I always have a house full) was in their assigned seats...  Now... a couple of areas of concern...

 

1. Marlene, as you all know was not sent to the bathroom during kicks this time (totally forgot) ... that was fine... but the 4th down attempt failed... wondering if I need to change this to just 4th downs... I will keep the group updated... 

 

2. Also Marlene, brought bills color sock for my wife an sister in law... they put them on... we won... but it was a tough game... I need to come to a decision if I need to use these to alter the dress code... my feeling is, dont wear them, but use them as rally socks if we find ourselves down... a mojo changer is always a nice thing to have.  More to come... 

 

all in all kept with the codes everyone at my house did their jobs, but I do have changes to ponder... as well as well... that shirt really needs washing... BUT I will not... I bought that Marshawn Lynch Dove body spray..... its a game changer!

Despite the protestations of all within nose-shot (like earshot?... no?... then what?) I again refused to wash my old, used-to-be-red Bills hat. I don't wear gear during the game since I've determined at gametime it's all jinxed, but this is my favorite piece of Bills apparel at other times. I wear it a lot. I sweat a lot. It doesn't smell good. It's bad enough that it's starting to make me think twice about wearing it because whatever is hiding in the band in the hat mixes with my sweat and is now like gasoline in my eyes... really bad smelling gasoline. But the football gods have spoken... it is not to get thrown in the laundry until the magic has worn off!!!

Same clothes all 4 games without washing (can’t wash away the karma).  Two Sahlen’s (found Sahlen’s here in Indiana!) with Ted’s sauce and onion, one beer before and one during the game.  Sit in the exact same chair and ring the Bills’ cowbell with each TD.

I made the mistake of watching the first half on TV.  Bad ***** move.

 

I turned the game off at half time, then checked the Bills App at 4:15.

I am 100% confident that it was my fault we were in a slump in the 2nd. I took off my Kyle Williams jersey in the 2nd because I was so hot at the game. Once I realized they were in a slump and the only thing that changed was lack of KW jersey, I immediately put it back on and that was when Bishop had his pick and they cruised the rest of the game. 

 

I apologize for the inconvenience and will be wearing the jersey for every second of every game the rest of the year.

My downstairs neighbors I guess are saints fans and the wife was getting a little too obnoxious about the game.  I left the house to take a ride when the bills started getting sloppy, and just listened to game on the radio.   Worked out pretty well.

I simply wore my Fredex jersey as good things happen when I wear 22.  I love that guy.  The funny thing is my dear friend wanted to take myself and now ex wife out to dinner with investing in his firm.  She said, he could care less as he goes out to dinners with Doctors, etc. all the time.  What do I get him?  Get him an authentic Fred Jackson jersey.  He’ll never buy that for himself.  The owners did and has never failed me.  I have newer jerseys, but when I wear Fredex, we always find a way to win.
