Thanks for saying this. It’s the cold Hard truth. So Many Homers just wanna say it was a W. There is serious cause for concern for those of us that understand that our all world Qb cant play defense and without one that at least comes close to his championship play we will be watching someone else in the Super Bowl again.

i hope they can figure it out by the playoffs.

I mean it was a first down until VanDerMark tripped and whiffed on his block.

 

But yeah...maybe a little too much confidence in your backup RT to make that type of athletic play.

Against a top 5 team you wouldn't have seen this. Let's stop pretending the Bills usually have these games against good teams. Typically in those games they look like the better team.

This, we are getting to a point where McD may have to, and probably should, take over the defense again. You don't get unlimited bites at the apple, and we have one this year, again. Handing the DC job over to a rookie was almost as bad of an idea as handing the OC job over to a rookie in Ken Dorsey.

Under Sean,  the D folded in key moments against the Eagles, Bucs, Broncos, Pats, Giants, Chiefs. And 2 of those losses were partially the result of a mistimed blitz.

- McD (B) -- Nothing stood out to me.  Thought his TOs at the end of the half were unnecessary.  Bills were not playing well in 2nd Qtr to want another drive.

I really like the concept of this post.  Pretty much agree with everything here, the only thing maybe I’d argue is your being a little stiff with the OL grade.  

 

The run defense deserved a F lol.

 

Considering this was far from our A game, we still won by 10+ points which is fairly impressive.

They got the win despite not playing their best. The one thing I thought would happen but didn't was when the Bills scored to make it 21-10, I thought they would take over after that. Get the ball back and make it 28-10 and the rest of the game would be garbage time. Still won by 12 despite the game being close in the 4th quarter.

Joe Marino reviewed the tape and Van Demark graded out very high in both pass blocking and run blocking.

 

Van Demark played 48 plays.  Marino said Van Demark was excellent on 46 of 48 plays.

 

One of the plays was 4th and 1 flip to Shakir, which went nowhere.  Van Demark got tripped up by Torrance, fell down, Saints rushed thru vacated spot and stopped Shakir
