Dennis Allen? He is the DC in Chicago. Brandon Staley is the defensive coordinator for the Saints.

Yeah, sorry. I got confused there for a second. Thanks GB

They are both 3 techs.

Walker started the game over the nose with D Jones at 3 tech believe it or not.  Walker also took snaps at L DE in a 3 man front, and made a great run stuff from there.  Oliver went over the nose in the past too.

Probably cuz the father is James Cook Jr

And he just didn't name either of his first two kids James.. the third kid got the same name

I do know that his name is James Dalvin Cook, and his older brother’s name (you know, the not-as-good RB.. we can say it now) is Dalvin James Cook.

His dad might be James Cook Jr. or James Cook II, or he might not be.  James Cook III really just signifies that there were two other James Cooks in the family when he was born.

I'm convinced that Babich is a jackass. I should have seen it from day 1 with his stupid flat brimmed hat.

Game could have been very different if Bishop doesn’t get the INT and they score there. Felt great about the game out of the gates, then not so much. We won, certainly did. But need to be at our best for 4 quarters.

Rattler was able to get some first downs with his feet that he shouldn’t have. Didn’t realize we needed a spy on him.

Missed tackles gotta stop.  Guys were out of position on a few of the misses and they have to work on that.

Cook is better than he’s ever been. The way he moves is amazing. Looks like he is down, but slinks his way for more yards.

Davis needs to see the bench or a bit. Not sure what happened from last season, but he just isn’t playing well. Honestly, scratch him next week and see what Gore can do.  Ty has to step it up also.

What was up with the refs? Seemed like they had a vendetta against us.  A few of penalties looked absolutely awful on in stadium replay.

Second week in a row you could feel it in the stadium they weren’t playing right.  Gotta put 4 quarters together every game. One seed is the first goal this season and need to win as many games as possible.

Rewatching the game today to get a better feel about it.  Can miss a lot when at the game.

Edit:  Coleman looked to have a great game and was in synch with Josh. The catch in the flat he went at the deep DB and then kinda floated to the open spot as Josh was throwing it. Great play!

Per the Bills radio play by play broadcast Cook had a shoe issue on the sideline when we couldn’t pick up the third and 2 in two plays and nearly blew the game.

That's when Ty Johnson subbed in, got the ball and hesitated, then ran into a wall. Not what you want. He hasn't shown up this year yet this year, either as runner or a passer. That dropped TD pass against the Dolphins is etched on my brain, in part because, as Collinsworth said, you will not see a better-thrown football. It's still early, but so far RB depth has gone from team strength to nothing special, at best.

Sure, for a snap here and a snap there. Walker is a 3 tech in a 1 techs body.

Where is Groot ?

Groot had a clutch goal-line tackle on third down, saving a touchdown. First time I've noticed him all season.

I have no idea if he is or isn’t.  What I do know is he wears aviators in the booth.  Make of that what you will.

While I definitely agree with that.... there were a couple where it was just a terrible playcall, Bosa half assed it last night when he had to play the run. There is zero doubt in my mind. That is not good enough and he needs a rocket up his arse. Yes, we want him to rush the passer, yes, when Hoecht is back we might have a better option to play opposite Greg on some of those early downs and intermediate distance plays and allow Bosa to be more of a rush specialist.... but he has to play better too.

They are both 3 techs.

Walker has been playing some 1 with Daquan jones playing the 3 when they are on the field together

It's been a lot more frequent than just for a snap or two.

I am not debating that he IS a 1 tech, just that they have been playing him in that spot with more frequency since Olivers injury. Its interesting.

I got roasted in earlier weeks for criticizing Bosa, and I'm not proud to say I was correct—pass rusher = Yes! Stopping the run on the edge = Horrible (but why the surprise? This has been the case all season).

The replay showed Van Demark tripping on someone's foot just before he was to lay the block on that play. If he gets that block, Shakir gains a bunch of yards. It's a good play design, just not executed.

Walker and Hawes have been the highlights of the '25 draft.

it’s a fine play design. It’s an awful call on the context of it being a huge moment and a backup RT

Agree with these two. That was Bishop's best game of the year and the interception was incredible. Big for the Bills because Taylor Rapp has had a really rough start to the year and their safety play does concern me. But on the flipside my patience has just about expired with Dorian Williams. It's a shame because I liked that pick and he is a physical specimen who can run and hit but he loses too many reps between the ears. I am not saying cut him but this is not the guy who long term succeeds Matt Milano. The Bills will have to go back to well and try and draft that next spring (somewhere in the mid rounds ideally).

On the (mr) Brightside, Shaq Thompson has made at least one “who the hell was that?” play (in a good way) each game.
its taken me 4 games to finally have it sink in he’s #45.

Yes when Milano's back you can persuade me there is a case for some more base with Shaq, Matt and Bernard.
